Resident Evil 6 Multiplayer – May Get 6 Player Online Co-op

Kotaku reported Resident Evil 6 multiplayer specs taken from the game’s product page at Xbox.com which has since been removed.

According to the page, Resident Evil 6 supports 2-player co-op offline and 6-player co-op online, making it the first game in the series to do so. Xbox.com has been updated since this news surfaced and it doesn’t bear any mention of the multiplayer specs.

It wouldn’t surprise if that indeed is the case considering the huge popularity of the Resident Evil 5′s co-op mode. It would be a smart decision to re-innovate the multiplayer aspect of the game and make it more entertaining which seems to be the goal of the developer.
