Thief 4 To Support Online Tools, Developed Using Unreal Engine, Includes New City

By   /   Jan 17, 2012

Eidos Montreal has been quiet on Thief 4 for so long which has prompted the internet users to dig for any information related to the game and that has led to several rumors from time-to-time.

This hasn’t stopped and the latest info comes from NeoGaf members who dug deep into the CV’s of the Eidos Montreal employees to unearth what the studio has cooked.

According to a forum post on NeoGaf, Thief 4 is being developed using Epic’s Unreal Engine, it may support online multiplayer and network games, and will have an urban setting.

It should be noted that CV of the Eidos Montreal employee mentions ‘online and offline tools’, which could be anything, we are just hoping it would be some sort of multiplayer mode because it’s plausible to think that.
