Age Of Empires Online Now Gets Skirmish Mode

Age of Empires Online, one of the sequels after Age of Empires 3 where gamers log onto servers available online to grab a slice of the fun available in battling their foes. Build empires and wage wars as well as defend incoming attacks. The free to play version is pretty nice to go along with and another benefit is that players are not linked through their live accounts and can receive and send messages through them as well as see their friends online.

Microsoft makes an addition to this free to play game which is its Skirmish Mode where players can now battle up to a pair of 4 AI’s at a time and use the capabilities of their units without needing to unlock which previously was necessary.

Although gamers that are linked with Windows Marketplace games need to get an update which sadly doesn’t come by free but once purchased you will enter the Golden Age and will be able play the skirmishes.
