El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron Weapons Guide

Weapons in El Shaddai can get corrupted as you use and you have purify them periodically if you want to continue fighting the fallen angels. El Shaddai also ask for a strategic use of these weapons, not just randomly button-mash-your-way to finish off a boss but it isn’t that difficult as you may consider it.

Anyway, you can read the our handy guide on each weapon to get started with these weapons and use them more efficiently against fallen angels. Enoch gets 3 weapons in the game and they are:

Arch
The Arch is a dual sided blade. It is very fast and has a reasonable attacking range. You could also do different sort of combos like if you press the blocking button first and then press the attacking button, Enoch will lift the enemy into the air which will buy you much more time to damage him.

It should be equipped for long and tricky jumps because of its gliding function (Both for 2D and 3D jumps).

Gale
The gale is a long ranged weapon. It is attached to your back and is just like a bow. When you press the attacking button it automatically fire arrows towards the enemy.

It also has some different combos; pressing down the attack button will fire all the arrows in a single burst which may take out a couple of enemies. There’s a fast attack for close encounters which can be used in the air and the ground as well.

Veil
You get hold of the veil once you’re in the mission of searching the angels. You first, find a shield which is later broken down into a pair of gauntlets. These gauntlets give you great power.

Now you can block almost any sort of attack. These powerful punches can cause lots of damage to all the enemies and are also used to break through cracked walls. The only draw-back is that they are quite heavy…so slow and difficult to be used against fast enemies.
