Rage QuakeCon Screens Show Us Different Enemies, Wasteland and More

When was the last time you played a game where you could differentiate everything? Think, Think. Talking in general; you will find it difficult to recall because we are so used to differentiating only the prominent aspects of video games.

Id Software however have created this artistic World in Rage where everything has a unique feel to it. It’s a scenery, as John Carmack said in his Quack-Con keynote. Stop the game for a second and look at the World around you, and you will realize the amount of the effort the game designers and artists have put in it.

These newly released screenshots which you can see sandwiched in the text, show us the inhabitants of post-apocalyptic wastelands in Rage. As you can see they have unique characteristics and style so you can easily differentiate each type. Different factions can be easily be pointed out due to their unique costumes and this is thanks to the artistic brilliance of Id.

You will play as a lone survivor of The Ark, a program to cryo-freeze people in advance to save them from an oncoming meteorite. You can check more on rage by reading our coverage on factions, enemies, weapons, and wasteland.

Rage will hit the store shelves on October 4 for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. You can see the box-art for Playstation 3 below:
