TERA Release Schedule Announced, Playable At Gamescom

By   /   Aug 4, 2011

Just a few days ago Frogster revealed the European Launch Schedule of the much-anticipated MMORPG game TERA. The game, originally scheduled for a launch this year, has been delayed till spring 2012 because the developers want to integrate various content updates into the game to meet the high expectations of fans.

However, that doesn’t mean players will have to wait till next year to have a taste of the game’s offerings, as Alpha testing is scheduled for later this year. Similarly, Beta testing is scheduled for early 2012 in preparation for the final release.

Developers shall be unveiling a few features at Gamescom this year, but Daniel Ulrich, the CMO of Frogster, has said that those features will be just the ‘tip of the iceberg’, so gamers have much more to expect from TERA than what is and what will be on display. So if you’re attending Gamescom, and you’re eager to have a taste of the game, you can get a hands-on experience at Hall 9.1, Booth B-011/C-010.

Terra will introduce a dynamic combat system with fully controllable characters in a rich fantasy world. You’ll explore over various terrains such as deserts, mountains and jungles, with a political system that is being further enhanced day by day will greatly influence the world of TERA and the player, hence creating a unique MMORPG experience.
