Outland Marks of the Gods Location Guide

Outland is an action platformer that puts you in the role of a hero to save the earth. You are the incarnation of a hero of the light who managed to imprison the sisters of chaos long ago, losing his life in the battle to save the earth. Now that the Sisters of Chaos have escaped their imprisonment, you are the last man standing between peace and chaos.

Only hope of humanity, you need to learn all the shape shifting mechanics to get rid of all the enemies that come your way but there is more to it. You need a weapon, a good one and that is what you will be rewarded with, once you have found all the collectibles ‘Mark of the Gods’ hidden throughout outland.

They are total 42 Mark of the Gods and once you found all, you will be rewarded with The Sword of the Gods, which will make the final boss battle much manageable.

You will also earn Collector achievement after collecting all the Marks of the Gods and other not really important stuff like concept art.

Origins

The Story Begins

Mark of the God #1
Location. It is right at the start of the game, just when you’ll learn to jump you’ll see it on a platform in front of you. Perform a running leap and you’ll get to it.

Mark of the God #2
Location. Once you get to the blue energy emitter, go downwards from the ladder and you’ll see another ladder, which will go upwards. Climb up to it and you’ll find the second Mark of the Gods.

Rites of Passage

You must have the sliding ability to get these.

Mark of the God #3
Location. Once you have obtained the sliding ability you’ll have a choice to take the upper path or the lower one. Take the lower one and go through the insects and energy streams.

Mark of the God #4
Location. Take the passage on the upper left side which takes you back to the start of the level. Once you are back to the starting of the level, you’ll find a sliding path. Slide through it and it will lead you to the MARK 4.

The Jungle

Lowlands

Mark of the God #5
Location. You’ll have to dodge some bullets once you have opened the gate. There is an elevator on the left side, climb up to it and go to the top. Drop down to the platform on the right side from there.

The Cursed Forest

Location. To be able to jump on the blue platforms you’ll have to get the Light Energy. Those platforms will help you to complete the level. Once you get the Light Energy, go past the first two platforms and continue your way until you find another couple. Keep going to the right side and make your way to the top where you’ll find it.

Mark of the God #7
Location. To get the 7th Mark of the Gods, you’ll have to go back to the first set of the blue platforms. Go beyond the dark energy and jump down into the pit. You’ll find a couple of insects, just avoid them and keep going downwards. Once you have reached to the lower most level, you’ll have to dodge a couple of energy streams and insects to get this.

Above the Canopy

Location. You’ll get to a teleporter once you have reached the highest point of this level, it will take you to a checkpoint. Go towards the right side and you’ll find some blue platforms. Go past them and you’ll see three more platforms, climb to the third platform and perform a big jump on the wall (right side). Follow those walls to the top and you’ll find the mark on the left side.

Origins – Crossroads of the World

Location. You’ll head back to the Origins once you have defeated the Gorim. Now it is time for you to grab the 9th mark. Go towards the right side and drop down. Turn left and break the floor. Go to the lowest point and you’ll find this.

The Underworld

Location. Once you have come through the teleporter you’ll see a check point. On the left side there are two creatures, either kill them or avoid. Jump to the platform on the right side and then either kill or dodge the enemy and leap on the wall. Then climb to the top by wall by jumping onto it.

Lost Passageways

Location. The place where you face flying jelly fish, burrowing creatures and energy streams emitting from the ground. Just next to all this there is a check point, go downwards and turn left where you’ll have to perform a wall climb to get this Mark.

Crypt of the Ancients

Location. You’ll soon get to a point where you’ll notice two red jellyfish and two blue jelly fish along with a gun which will fire-red bullets at different angles. Keep going towards the right side and you’ll have to go through more insects. You’ll find the Mark next to a turret that is firing bullets.

The Buried Empire

Location. Once you are at the top of the map you’ll come across couple of turrets firing bullets, these bullets are somewhat different>. It’s a large room, go to its left and you will find a yellowish elevator. Climb up and leap on the left side to get the mark.

The Underground River

Location. This Mark is a little before the upper one (Mark 13). You’ll enter into a small room which will have to ledges before you’ll get to the top of the map. It has two leeches in it, go to the upper ledge and leap towards right and climb up by wall jumping. You’ll see the mark.

City of the Dead

Location. You will come across a large room with two shafts; its right after you go through the long tunnel. Get to the middle block of that room and perform the wall jump to make your way to the top. Make sure you don’t get hurt by the energies.

Get back to your spawning area and you’ll see a teleporter.

Jungle

Use this teleporter to get back to the Jungle.

Jungle Highlands

Location. Go towards the right side and drop down to the elevator, get the check point and take a right. You’ll see a turret, get beneath that turret and find a breakable floor on the left side. After breaking it you’ll see a wall where you can perform the wall climbing. Get to the top and you’ll see the Mark.

Above the Canopy

Location. Go to the left side at the start of the level, there is a jelly fish. Drop down and keep going on the right-down side. Once you have reached to the core you’ll see some energy flowers. Get rid of them and find an energy platform (dark). Jump onto it and then get to the next platform which will take you to the mark.

The City

The City Walls

Location. You’ll get to a checkpoint after you’ll defeat the monster who is equipped with a shield. Right after that checkpoint there are two platforms. Don’t jump onto that instead find a pit on the right side, the mark is there.
