E3 2011: Microsoft Press Conference Round Up

Microsoft open this year’s E3 press conference which was little exciting compared to their last year’s E3 press conference. You can read through the summary below:
- Modern Warfare 3 gameplay was revealed and it the usual announcement that the DLC will come first on Xbox 360. Modern Warfare 3 gameplay demo features some breath taking single player action including under water action, breaking into a sub-marine then driving a speed boat through the heart of the war around the waters of New York. Release date confirmed as November 8.
- For the first time, Tomb Raider gameplay was shown and it looks stunning. Tomb Raider reboot will be significantly darker and more realistic to an extent that I couldn’t watch the trailer. She was screaming that realistic
Expect strong violence and lots of grunting in this game. The game’s coming this fall. - New EA Sports games Tiger Woods, Madden and FIFA series and one un-announced game with Kinect support.
- Family Game Night and The Sims 3 Pets were revealed, both will support Kinect on console.
- Mass Effect 3 Kinect demo was shown feature voice command controls. Ability to control conversations and give orders to party members via voice using Kinect.
- Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will feature an exclusive Kinect mode called ‘GunSmith’ allowing players to create modular weapons, with more enough combination to create more than 20 million weapons.
- Xbox Live gets YouTube, Bing and live TV support this fall. Kinect integration will be improved to make every feature work with voice command especially Bing Search.
- You can now UFC with your friends and family using the all new social features provided by Xbox Live.
- Gears of War 3 demo was shown featuring Cliff Blezenski playing the game.
- Crytek’s new mystery roleplaying game, Ryse was shown, which is Kinect exclusive first person roleplaying game set in ancient Rome. Pretty Graphics…
- Halo Anniversary announced, featuring a completely remastered campaign, co-op support via Xbox Live and seven multiplayer levels, playable online.
- Forza 4′s new details on its social community features, car clubs, a “rival mode” and 16-player races.
- Fable Journeys – The next iteration of Fable, where power and control are at your fingertips.
- Minecraft – Minecraft coming exclusively to Xbox 360 with Kinect support this winter.
- Kinect Disneyland Adventures – For Kids who can’t go to Disney land, enjoy it at home.
- Star Wars Kinect demo gameplay revealed, is set in clone wars era, and features classic storyline and Star Wars action sequences doable with Kinect.
- Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster – Kinect compatible cooperative adventure offering family friendly experience.
- Kinect Fun Labs – Kinect goes social and Fun.
- Kinect Sports: Season 2 – Sequel to the first game, now includes more sports.
- Dance Central 2 – More songs, multiplayer, and ability to import your Dance Central Songs.
- Halo 4 – New Teaser for the game was revealed hinting “The Dawn of the New Trilogy” for Xbox 360.
