StreetPass Mii Plaza Guide – Puzzle Swap, Find Mii and Magic Types


StreetPass Mii Plaza is part of the built-in application collection of the Nintendo 3DS. The application introduces social interactivity between Nintendo 3DS gamers with the help of series of minigames build around the idea to capitalize on the data, including Puzzle Swap & Find Mii. StreetPass Tips

You can play Mii Plaza games Puzzle Swap and Find Mii games by spending play coins even when there is no one nearby to StreetPass with you. Green Light at the top corner of Nintendo 3DS will blink when you successfully streetpass with anyone. You can write personalized greetings once you have successfully streetpassed the same person multiple times. It takes time to StreetPass so be patient.

Puzzle Swap Tips

You need to complete two separate puzzles by collecting pieces that other people have found during their streetpassing adventures. You can pick on puzzle piece from another Mii’s puzzles to complete your own Puzzle Swap. Always go for one’s that you don’t see often. Pieces of puzzle on the left are less common so when you meet someone with Bowser puzzle piece, you should probably pick it.

Find Mii, Magic Types and General Tips

Each Mii you collect via StreetPass becomes a unit you can use to pass through the dungeons. Attack and progress made carries over to the next time you enter Find Mii. If you StreetPass with the same person multiple times, that person’s Mii will level up and become more powerful in battle.

The shirt color of your collected units determines what sort of magic they use, so try to find StreetPass friends with different shirt colors to gain access to all magics.

Black Magic
Darkness, area becomes dark.

Brown Magic
Summons a hero, someone who fights alongside you to help you out.

Green Magic
The next hero will gain extra power.

Orange Magic
New heroes that enter will receive a morale boost.

Pink Magic
Makes your hero brave, they don’t get scared.

Red Magic
Burning flames, more damage against blue ghosts.

Yellow Magic
Sandstorm, reduces enemy’s chances to scare you.

Note. To defeat the enemy holding the shield, you need to attack with a Mii with a same color of shirt.
