DC Universe Online PVP Survival Guide

By   /   5 years ago

Like every MMO DC Universe Online also offers a PVP realm. The PVP server is open world just like the PVE servers. The only difference is that you can attack and kill enemy players. This can be a tough realm for new players since you can be easily ambushed while you’re exploring the world of DC Universe Online (DCUO). However, there are some tips that can help new users survive the onslaught.

PVP Survival Guide

Stick to your home. Home areas form a separation line between both factions and there is a very low possibility of enemy players coming to your home city for kills. At the same time it’s best if you would stay away from the homes of enemy players as well. Stay clear of the opposite faction’s safe areas: Police stations for the heroes and Night clubs for the villains.

Arenas
Arenas are open for you once you reach level 9. You can team up with other players to take on the opposing faction. You can queue up for an arena match by pressing your “Y” key. King of the hill features a 4v4, capture the flag features a 5v5 and capture&hold sees to a 8v8 gameplay.

Arena matches can be quite challenging. It will hone your skills required to take on enemy players. The rewards of wins are good too, you’ll earn various tokens to buy high level items including PvP specific armor.

Legends Matches
You can unlock Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Robin, Bane, huntress and Arkham Asylum Joker to be played with. Once you have selected your skin, you can queue with team mates to take on other enemy players using icon character skins.

These matches will take you to iconic locations such as the Batcave or Arkham Asylum. You will earn similar tokens if you win and hence can make your character stronger.

You can unlock legends through rewards in game or you can end up buying them. All legends are not equal, each has his/her qualities and gameplay.
