Enslaved Odyssey to the West is gearing up to become one of the most engaging action adventure games of the year, with real character development, clever gameplay mechanics and inspiring story. The game features a struggle to survive as the playable character Monkey, a futuristic nomad who starts as a captive of the malevolent race of mechs is enslaved again by his own fellow prisoner.

After surviving an airship accident, he wakes up all to know that he has been enslaved by technologically savvy fellow prisoner Trip. Who can control his actions with jolts of pain injected by a headband used to control him, the interesting part comes when Trip tells Monkey that if she dies, the vary headband used to control him will inject a lethal dose of venom, which will kill him also.

Now begins the unwanted alliance of these two for survival as Monkey has to escort Trip to his homeland before he can be released. You will face many difficult encounters in your way through the game, and boy, having played the demo, you know it won’t be easy. Our step by step walkthrough guide will provide you with all the necessary information you can use and play the game in its entirety.

Now, the demo part, the first 30 minutes of the game to get you going.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 1: The Escape
Go through the jumping tutorial. when you fall into the small pit climb, over the crates to exit. Keep up with the prompts until attacked by the robot. Climb on the pipe to the right and leap to the ledge with the soldier.

Now climb down the pipe to the lift and get your gear.With staff equipped go back to the mech, move on and finish the tutorial. When the pod door seals,follow the handholds and pipes around the ship avoiding the jet flame bursts that you encounter on your way.

Open the door to the escape pod and when the ship starts heading towards the skyscraper. Climb as high as you can and be quick.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 2: The Old City
After the crash, follow Trip to the bridge collect the tech orbs as you move on. Climb to the poles to the opposite side and defeat the mechs there.When the robot starting firing stay in cover and move forward in between the blasts and defeat it, and the mech that follows. Follow Trip through the path and lift the block when you reach it.

Run across the platform and create a distraction when you reach on the other side. Call Trip while you yell at the mechs. Ask Trip to make a decoy for you as you run across the bridge. On the other side create another distraction and call her.

When you are about to take down the mechs hop down and get Trip to make a decoy. Follow the girders, handholds and pipes across the chasm to the mechs. At the stone opening first wait for the decoy to recharge and then activate it and kill the first mech. When the decoy re-charges destroy the second mech. Go back to the security door and Trip will open it.

Follow Trip to the next area when the dragonfly appears on the display, follow it through the room until you capture it. Return back the dragonfly to Trip and carry her to the minefield. In the next minefield carry Trip and stay on top of the debris to keep safe. Throw Trip to the ledge above you and make your way around jumping from car to car. Through trip again across the gap and then cross yourself to help pull her up.

Move down the debris and take cover below. Use Trip’s decoy and distract the turret while you leap across the poles and head to the right. Sneak past the blue waves of the mechs and make your way to the target above the turret.

Use the new staff blast to knock out the sign. When the mechs are about to attack Trip run down and destroy them quickly. Stay quite low and make your way to the turret in the area with the fuel tank. Use Trip’s decoy if necessary. Perform a take down on the turret and use it to destroy the fuel tank.

Take out the mechs by using the turret before they reach Trip (You can use the barrels as distraction). Go right past the turret and follow trip to the next area.

Stay away from the mech and collect the experience pods within the area. With your staff blast hit, him in the head. When you run out of plasma charges sneak in for a few hits before dodging his chain and ball attack.

When the mech is damaged enough to become enraged stand opposite to the atlas statue and taunt him to charge at you and hit the block slowly knocking the giant ball loose. Repeat the same procedure by hitting the bot into the statue three times to defeat him.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 3: The Metal Tower
Head to the doorway on the right to grab some tech orbs and plasma shots before following Trip. Instead of facing the mechs climb on top of the crates and run across the ledge to the right. Throw Trip across the large gap. Jump across right and help her pull up to the ledge.

By using Trip’s decoy distract the shielded mechs to make it across the gap and perform a takedown on the first one and use its weapon to take out the second. Grab a few tech orbs and a plasma container behind the area where the first mech was standing and head to the ladder.

Head to the next area guarded by a turret by following Trip. Carry Trip to the ladder that she points and throw her to the ledge. Work your way out and lower the gate so that Trip can cross it. Take control of the turret and defend Trip.Watch for the mechs coming from the left side.

Make your way down to the open apartment area collecting tech orbs and stun ammo as you go. Fire a stun charge at demolition man to make it stand still and upgrade your stun to get more time. When you have hit the mechs with several stun attacks, it will turn red. Now take cover behind the tall thick wall and taunt him so that he will charge.

After he throws himself against the wall run towards the mech to perform a takedown. When the boss battle ends follow Trip to the card which is blocking the exit and through her to the handhold above to continue to the next area.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 4: Wherefore Art Thou
Stash Trip in the metal crate and start climbing into the building with the handholds.Wait for the fire before moving forward when the mech appears. In between the blasts the you can make 3-4 moves but you cant stun them.

After defeating the electro mech keep climbing until you see the red sign with a line of handholds. Climb as fast as you can.On your way above you will face some shielded mechs firing at you. Make your way around the ground path and taking cover in between as quickly as you can. In order to stay safe fire a stun blast at the nearest mech. A stun blast following by plasma blasts will completely destroy the mechs.

Start climbing in the right corner of the room. Time your moves to keep it up with cover at maximum. Destroy the mechs at the top of the building and then move across to the metal tower. Climb up the girders as quickly as you can.

Work your way around to the ground level after the giant mech falls and find Trip.Trip at your toe run as fast as you can avoiding the mech. Throw Trip when she tells you to the ledge then follow the path to the top of the building.

By performing a takedown destroy the mechs and toss Trip to the ledge. Collect the glitch icon and climb the scaffolds when the dog mech attacks Hit each switch when it becomes available and then climb the most recently lowered platform to reach the next one.

After raising the red platform return back to the lone switch to line the blue platform with the others and cross the scaffolds.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 5: The Crash Site
As monkey activates the cloud head down the ramp to your left and hover across circular catwalk acr0ss the water.Before hopping down to Trip shove the crate into the water.Gather some tech orbs while exploring .The ramp that leads to the next crate is at the right side of Trip.

Now shove the second crate and follow Trip’s path to the next point. Through Trip to the above ledge and then head to the girder.Move quick as you go up and around the debris. Toss Trip to the ledge and follow her.

Now again toss Trip to the other ledge and leap over and help her pull up. Carry her through the next couple of jumps. Don’t stay at one place for too long. In the first part of the bridge by performing a takedown take out the small clumps of mechs.

Head towards the left until the mechs keep on shooting at you. Go back around and go right. Take down the mechs from behind by using Trip’s distraction ability. Follow Trip as you work your way around the hanging debris.

Work your way around the left side of the bridge when Trip spots the turret. Avoid the mechs and use her distraction technique otherwise it will put Trip in danger. Perform a takedown on the turret when you reach it and destroy the sleeping mechs.

Grab some tech orbs populating at Trip’s side of the bridge and then lift the blue block out of your way. Take cover behind the marked vehicle after passing through the turrets and use Monkey’s attention getting ability to make the turrets busy and let Trip follow.

Open the hatch for Trip to hack the vehicle. When it takes off keep it between you and the turrets.Hop over the gaps as fast as you can and move to the right when Trip calls. Collect the tech orbs when you move across the bridge.

Use your stun attack to stop the dog in its track as this time you can avoid the fight.Now leap and wail away with your staff.Keep on attacking the dog by stunning him nabbing health or stun recharges as you need them.

Activate your cloud and chase the mech when it stars running. Use the blue points for a speed boost. Perform a takedown when you are close to the dog to deal some real damage. Repeat the task again and again until the dog becomes a pile of scrap metal.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 6: Village Approach
This area of the game will be tough so its a good opportunity to upgrade your abilities, especially combat-related upgrades such as the evade and attack ability. Lower the platform for Trip by swinging through the branches to the bridge controls.

Ask Trip to pull the lever when standing there with her. After crossing the bridge ask her to pull it again.Now cross the upper bridge and lower it from there.Now from your lever station call Trip when the bridges are in place.

Through Trip up the ledge and leap to the bridge until it collapses. Now use the branches to make your way back up. Let Trip pull the next lever cross then cross and pull the second lever yourself. Get Trip to pull her up and cross to the upper level.

Set the bridges so that Monkey can cross to the upper right side and then lower the bridges so that Trip can cross.Now send her to the right side. Come back to the upper left side and lower the bridge so that Trip can join. Now raise the bridges and escort Trip to the watchtower.

Follow the waypoint to the opposite watchtower. By performing takedowns take out the mechs as they attack.When the fight is over,Move up to the tower via the handholds.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 7: Finding Trip
Now start following Trip, Use your stun blast on the turret when it locks on to buy some time and make your way around to perform a takedown. Use the same weapon to destroy the mechs below.

After the brief encounter with the mech climb to the left side of the building.As another mech will lock on to your postion so take it out using plasma blasts. Keep up with Trip and Hop down into the next area and take out the unshielded mechs. Use your staff and kill the mech by stunning it first.

Quickly hop to the lift in the next enclosure to pick some plasma shots. Take out the unshielded mech by firing across the way then make your way where you started and take cover somewhere.

The mechs will keep on targeting you. Hit the mech with a stun blast,leap down and climb the pipe to his platform. Destroy the mech by performing a takedown and use his weapon to clear the other mechs in the area

Try to open the door but first grab some tech orbs and staff charges. If it doesnt open climb up to the rooftops and blast away the girderMake use of the defective mech to take out the other mechs around you and climb the pipe and cross.

This area consists of several mechs that will attack you.First take out the long ranged mechs with your staff. Concentrate on the defective ground mechs to keep reinforcements at bay. Dont miss the mask icon midway through on the left.

Hop down and search the area for tech orbs and exit through the door.As u reach a wide open space filled with different types of mechs targeting you with their guns. Take them out with your staff and conserve your ammo in case one threatens to call for help.

Now several groups of larger mechs will attack you, Take out the mechs by quickly using stun shots and take advantage of the defective mechs as they appear.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 8: Gaining Access
Follow Trip to the windmill and climb to the right side to reach the first switch. Toss Trip to the ledge at the top of the ladder and follow her by making your way around the left side

Move with Trip to the windmill and climb at its top.Open the sail by climbing to the peak of the blade.Trip controlling the windmill brakes, Climb down to the building to the right. Stop the windmill so that one of the unfurled blades is nearby,hop down on the pole and start the windmill again. Make Trip hit the brakes when you are in the verical postion and drop the first sail.

The second sail is tough to get to. The pole is positioned higher on the blade so you cant simply jump from the building. So instead ride one of the other blades across the red building. Now spin the windmill so that the last blade is nearby then hop on. Grab the mask icon on the top of the left house.Ride is all the way to the left. Position it vertical and lower the sail.

The mechs attacks as Trip initiates the generator overload. Stun the group of mechs to buy some time and work on the big guys first. Upgraded staff and combat techniques are useful here.

Get face to face with the dog mech once again but his attacks are largely the same. Stun the dog to knock it down then wail away while he cant move. Use force attacks if unlocked.

When the dog starts running Hop on the cloud and chase him. Take out the mech by performing a takedown when close. Search for tech orbs and ammo when the battle is over. Also don’t miss the mask icon behind the building near a gate where the dog came through.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 9: The Wasteland
As you take control of the monkey go back to the left and take the mask icon. Destroy the two mechs that come in your way.Take the cloud and explore.After gathering some tech orbs. Make your way to let Trip through.

After Trip scans the next area Shoo the first target, Use Trip’s distraction ability and hop on the cloud and move across the water towards the boat.Climb up the platforms and take out the mechs there.

Hit the second target to lower the beam and go back and help Trip cross. Mechs will appear along the shores as you move through the corridor. Use the gun on the boat and listen to Trip for clues to their location. Then blast them to dispatch them.

As Trip restarts the motor Keep an eye because mechs will come from above to the right and left. After taking out the mechs in the second room. Flip the switch and move forward.

When the boat stops head left to the mindfield.Use cloud to leap the gaps and find the small ramp against the wall.Take out the turret from here. From where you entered,backtrack a bit through the hole and the out the mechs here and follow the ramp to the second turret.

Go back to the boat after collecting the tech orbs. After the boat stops grab the mast icon and clear the debris. A dog mech will appear and give Trip a chase. You will automatically embark upon a cloud. Hit every blue dash point as you can but avoiding the mechanical traps and mines.

Follow the blue light and you will do just fine. When you are close to the dog, perform a takedown and take him down to end this chapter.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 10: The Titan Factory
Race pigsy to the top of the pile of scrap and follow him right back down.Join Pigsy and Trip to the next area. Turn the nearby wheel to raise the first walkway.Then climb on the pole against the rare wall.

Now with the help of the pole go through the walkway you just raised and throw Trip on the other side. Raise the next platform again as before. Now you will face a demolition mech,deal with him as before. Deal some damage and then taunt him into charging and banging the pillar. With a takedown finish him off and also watch out for the other mechs also.

Trip will lower a pipe for you,climb it. Follow Trip back to the first walkway and lower it for her and shoot Pigsy’s explosives to lower the bridge and cross to the next area. Keep on following Trip and Pigsy and through Trip to the ledge and she will again lower some pipes for you to cross.Trip will start the activate the machinery for you to clear the path so jump carefully. Hit Pigsy’s bomb to let Trip to pass.She will get the hydraulics moving so you can cross it.

Jump on the pipes and make Trip rotate the pillars for you to cross.Turn left,you will find a mask and tech orbs and then follow Pigsy. Follow them both to the next door and grab some tech orbs stashed above a handhold to the right.Step down then move forward and deal with the mechs.

Help Trip to the next ledge and then go back down and cross to the center pillar.Stun the turret with your plasma blast or Trip’s distraction ability and move slowly across the next area. Help Trip move to the crane but first collect the mask icon behind the turret. Cross and take control of the crane and switch it so that Trip can cross.

Use the bar to reach the other crane controls.Pull the switch and wait for Trip to cross. When monkey spots the waypoint,hit the switch and return to the center pillar to cross the second crane platform.Use the pipes and handholds to make your way to Trip. The mechs will start attacking her so move quick to reach her in time. Throw Trip to the platform and let her do what she wants.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 11: The Old Battlefield
In the next area, mechs will start running in from all the sides shooting at the Monkey. Use the gaunlet gun and take them out one by one.Shielded mechs are to be stunned first.Deal with the mechs with the help of the guanlet gun.Climb over the crates and grab some tech orbs and the mask icon.

Follow Trip and Pigsy to the green valley area.Cross the bridge facing the screen and climb to get the mask icon then take out the mechs.

The rhino can’t be harmed with your weapons so wait for it to lower its helmet and starts running,then evade to stay safe.Shoot the bombs which Pigsy tosses into the ring when the rhino is nearby.

After taking some damage taunt the rhino into charging while standing in front of the burner.When the rhino smashes it will cause serious damage. The next burner is on the tower so shoot the structure to make it weak and repeat the taunting process to hurt rhino again.

Pigsy will open the wat for the next burner.Climb it and hit the rhino again.6.The final chase happens on Cloud. Hit every boost point you can and perform a takedown to save Trip.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 12: The Dam
Follow Pigsy through the bay doors and slide down the zipline with him.move to the left waypoint and tell Trip to move the cars. Hit the switch and climb aboard.Make Trip move the cars in reverse and pick up the mask icon.

Now have Trip move the cars ahead and hop to the right side,then tell Trip to reverse course. Jump to the right side and hit the switch.Hop on the cart and send them forward.Make your way and hop down at the first switch.Now reverse the cart direction and hit the switch.Send the cars forward. Go back to the doors where the sub awaits. Follow the sub and take down the mechs. Run to the switch and flip it so that the sub can move.

Take out the mechs as quickly as possible while heading to the first platform. When a message pops up that the weak point has been analyzed so use the plasma shot and aim for the target near the sub.Do it fast as more mechs will come.Kill those mechs and work ur way around closer to the sub.Hit the switch for the sub to continue.Now go back to the right and climb down. Follow the sub.

Take out the mechs with your plasma shots that are trying to destroy the sub.Move ahead to the right and make your way down.After the sub lowers take out the mechs in your way adter running towards the edge of the platform. Keep an eye on the long range attackers.In the room to the right grab the mask icon.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 13: Grand Theft
Follow Pigsy and Trip to the terminal.Trip will set a waypoint for you but watch for the gears and burners and keep following the dragon fly.Shoot the bombs that Pigsy deploy for you.Pigsy will toss some bombs on an achor point.Climb up towards Pigsy and drop down to find the mask icon.Now head back down and wait for the right momen to shoot the bombs and continue.Just keep on following the dragon fly when you reach the first giant fan. Run towards your left to grab the mask icon.

Pigsy will drop some bombs,shoot them.Make your way across the pipes and Join Pigsy to the lift. Follow your friends through the hallways and elevators.Move up to the rafters and fire a plasma shot at Pigsy’s bomb.Move around to climb up and follow the dragonfly to the next anchor point.Move on the platform and
Take care of the bombs that Pigsy drops.

Keep on following the dragonfly to the last anchor point.Hit the bombs on the platform that you are on and shoot the last one when the plasma shot refills.Follow Trip and Pigsy to the lift.Run from the power control room and climb up the second level.Take down the mechs that start coming out of the holes cut in the wall and use stun shots on the shielded mechs.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West Chapter 14: Pyramid
Upgrade whatever you can as its your last change and focus on your staff shot and health upgrades.Shoot the leech mechs and take out the mechs that hop on the platform then continue on the pipes.Watch out for the fire as you climb. On the next platform,kill the mechs quickly as more mechs will come in. The second cannon will blast fire.Deal with the mechs first.

Go back and down to the platform on which tech orbs will be floating and grab the final mask icon.Keep on climbing around the leviathan.When the scorpion mech attacks you wait for Trip to set a way point for you,go there and pull the gas valve to release some gas.Shoot your plasma shots at the target just below
the mech to deal some damage.

Run back a little and Trip will send some hydraulic lifts for you.Now climb the poles to the top and shoot the mechs target points from up there.As soon as you get control of Monkey again,climb down.

Deal with the mechs until Trip sets another waypoint for you.Go the valve and turn it on to again release some gass and shoot it.Climb on the pillars and hit the targets and move down to the ground.The scorpion will move to your part of the ship so shoot the targets quickly on its front. Fight off the mechs that attack and make your way down across the poles to the next target. Shoot the targets and climb up quickly to shoot the final points.
