StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty is sequel to the legendary RTS franchise by Blizzard Entertainment. StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty continues the story where StarCraft BroodWar left. Jimmy Raynor will continue its effort to be acknowledged by the people as a hero, a man who has nothing to loose. It offers different ways you can complete the campaign, every decision effects the outcome of the game, and dictates the game story. The survival of the galaxy is in your hands, how far will you go?. StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty Campaign Mission#1 Liberation
Liberation day is the first mission of StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty which basically gives the overview of the game, basic controls, movements and tactics. In the middle of the mission you will be provided with the reinforcements to help save the rebel convoy. After you have saved the rebel convoy, it will join Raynor’s forces to take over and destroy whatever is left of the enemy.

StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty Campaign Mission#2 Outlaws
You will be introduced to “how to build” part of StarCraft 2 in this mission, how to build building and defensive structures. Mission is pretty much simple, try to create a group of marines to form a rush squad and provide support with as many reinforcement troops as possible.

StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty Campaign Mission#3 Zero Hour
This mission teaches you the basics of defending. Zero hour will last for 20 minutes and you have to defend yourself from the Zerg Rush during this time period. No rocket science here really, bunkers, turrets are must. Build bunkers and turrents that cover the road inlet as the best way to stop the incoming Zerg Rush from any side. Also there would be air raid that will begin just after the initial Zerg Rush by the ground units so be prepared.

Evacuation as the name suggests is a transport mission. You will have to evacuate 50 rebels as the increasing number or Zerg forces attack the transporters on the way. You can build bunkers to fortify roads, covering an possible routes Zerg’s can use. Or you can escort the rebels with increasing number of troops, it all depends on how you play the game, choose your best option.

StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty Mission Smash and Grab
Marauder unit is introduced in this mission, but before starting this mission, you should really upgrade your existing forces with credits you have gained previously. Protoss Guardians in this mission require huge power to take down so build a large attack squad using mercenaries and Marauder units.

StarCraft 2 Upgrade Tips
During the mission as you explore inside the Battlecruiser Hyperion, you can choose to unlock access to powerful units, buildings and upgrades. You will be able to do this for the first time between mission 4 and mission 5. During the story, you will be allowed to incorporate the latest of Zerg and Protoss technologies and breakthroughs which will make your units tougher and grant them new abilities. This feature of StarCraft 2 is exclusive to singleplayer campaign and these unit abilities will give you much needed fire power against Raynor’s enemies.

At night you defend and in the daylight you attack making it two sided mission of StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty. Fortify your camp, build bunkers and turrets to support your defense. Once you have the defense ready, focus on building a large attack group. Defense will run smooth if you have fortified your camp and build defense structures in a way to keep your main base safe. Now, focus all your resources on attack during day light to destroy all the infected buildings. This will be a long journey so don’t waste your resources in a rush.

Your task is to destroy eight cargo trains in StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty Great Train Robbery. You should be fine with Diamond Back tank at your disposal in this mission. Use your mercenaries to increase Diamond Back assault firepower. During the final stages of this mission enemy will send out a large Marauder patrol that is insanely powerful, but if you enough tanks and even some Goliath units, you will safely repel this attack to gain an achievement called Bully The Bully.

StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty Campaign Mission# The Dig
The Dig is another defensive StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty mission, Siege Tank is introduced in this mission. This mobile siege unit has two modes, Tank and Siege. While in Tank mode you can move and attack, when in Siege mode, vehicle cannot move but the damage and range is increased. The Dig as the name suggests has something to do with digging, and you will be digging a secret hidden artifact. You will use the laser cannon to drill through the temple doors to reach the hidden artifact. Build bunkers and anti air missiles to support your defense and make place siege tanks around the laser to ensure success.

Unlock 3 Artifact StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty Achievement
At a certain point in the mission, you will be given Laser Drill, you can also use it to destroy enemy units or if your defense is strong enough, you can use it to drill 3 extra protoss artifacts that will get you an achievement. These artifacts will show up on your map early on, send siege tanks to destroy the guardians and use the laser drill to open the doors and recover hidden artifacts.

You take the role Zaratul in this mission, you are permanently cloaked but coming in range of certain Zerg Units makes you visible. This mission will also teach you the certain powers associated with Zaratul like Blink and Void Orb. Basically a stealth mission so take your time, and most importantly Zaratul can both heal and regenerate his energy so you should remain relatively unharmed. Once you encounter the Queen of Blades, you will be told that you only have 2 minutes to make it to the teleport exit so start running and use blink to cross obstacles and large gaps, ignoring any enemies on the way and you will be fine.

Resources is what this mission will focus on, the first side to gain 6000 resource points wins control of mercenary units located on this level and once you have the control of the mercenary forces, the rest of the mission is walk in the park. Focus on picking up mineral scrap piles left behind using Vulture bikes and deploy spider mines they come equipped with. Try deploy some defensive units and also attack enemy SCV units once in a while to slow down their progress.

StarCraft 2 Medivac’s are introduced in this mission and you will be given two units at the start of the mission. Use these units to transport and heal, you can also use them to carry later units like Goliath but this will count as two units Medivac’s hold. Watch out for the Zerg Anti air defenses in this mission as losing the Medivac fully loaded with troops will be a costly mistake.

SuperNova again focuses on the movement of your base as the hot sun destroys everything in its path. Be quick to gather whatever resources you can before you move on to taking over the next Protoss base and make sure you have somewhere to move your base to next. Once in the second base build up a large attack squad focusing on large ground units that can move fast, as well as some air units in the form of Banshee units which will help you takeover the Protoss base and recover the artifact.
