When it comes to soccer in gaming, first name that rings in our minds mostly is EA Sports. You may disagree but the fact is with FIFA Online, they have proved their worth as the most dominating franchise for soccer games.
If you don’t know yet then FIFA Online is a free to play massively multiplayer soccer  game based on FIFA 10 engine.

You can join any league and climb up the ladder or defeat other players to gain rank. Now there has been some issues regarding the game which I thought should be resolved. This article contains the list of most common bugs and errors about FIFA Online and their solutions.

FIFA Online Joypad Fix
Joypad configuration problem has been their since FIFA 09. If you are not playing with the joypad mentioned in EA’s supported list then most probably you will have difficulty in assigning keys in the options. Sometimes even the supported ones like the Logitech’s  Rumble Pads may also show anomalies.

Possible Fixes
#1 There has been a fix released to solve the issue. Download the fix and then replace that  devdata.dat file with the one in your My Documents/Fifa Online/User folder.

#2 If that doesn’t work for you then you can try Xpadder. Xpadder actually is a software that can configure your joypad to perform the tasks that it cannot perform by default. It does not work for everyone but has worked for some players out there. You can download it here

#3 You can also give FIFA 09 Joypad fix we posted on, a while back.

Game Crashes
Many players out there have reported unusual crashes while launching the game or during the game. Some fixes has been proposed to solve the issue.

#1 In order to fix it

  1. Open your Control Panel (Start > Control Panel)
  2. Open “Regional and Language Options” Set the drop down under “Standards and Formats” on the “Regional Options” tab to “English (United States)
  3. Launch the game and try your luck.

#2 Make sure that you meet the minimum requirements to run FIFA Online and you are using latest drivers for your video card.

#3 Crashes have mostly been reported by users who are using windows 7. I think  its most probably due to visual styles in Windows 7. So if you change your visual styles to any other then Aero, you might be able to run the game.

#4 If you are facing any error related “dll” file then try reinstalling the directX Or you can try these library files. Just install them and try the game.

Players Remain in T Stance With no Animations
The only possible fix devised for this issue is that you update your video card drivers. It is recommended that you use  omega .

Unable to Install the Game
The most probable reason for this problem is that FIFA Online does not support FAT32 system. So in order to solve the problem, you need to install it into NTFS partitioned hardrive. If you don’t have one then you can convert one using the following command in the command prompt.

convert drive letter: /fs:ntfs

Red Cards not Disappearing
If you have been facing this problem then all you need to do is play three consecutive solo league games and that should solve the problem for you.

Rare Issues
There are some issues faced by fewer players like some players can’t enter world cup mode etc. Best possible solution to this problem is that you prepare a bug report with your “dxdiag” and send it to FIFA Online staff. They will most probably solve your issues.

If you have faced any other problem and know any other workarounds to issues related to FIFA Online, do share with us.
