How to Play StarCraft 2 Custom Maps Offline

StarCraft 2 offers rookies and developers alike a chance to create custom StarCraft 2 Wings of Libertymaps with StarCraft 2 editor. That said, we all know, we can play StarCraft 2 offline with the help of custom launcher, although the guide may be outdated but the concept remains. Similarly, we can play StarCraft 2 custom maps offline, you can follow this guide to be able to do so.

How to Play StarCraft 2 Custom Maps Offline

Step 1
Download your favorite StarCraft 2 Custom Map.

Step 2
Open the map with Starcraft 2 Editor. Go to  C:/Program Files/Starcraft II Beta/Starcraft 2 Editor and execute it.
Once you have opened the editor, Choose File > Open > and navigate to the folder where you just downloaded your map and load it.

Alternatively you can drag your favorite map, over “StarCraftII.exe” or a shortcut.

Step 3
Click the “Test Document” button that is far right in top options toolbar. This will load your favorite StarCraft 2 Map offline and you can play this map in singleplayer.

    How do you set up a offline custom skirmish game with computer AI like the game lobby without setting them up in the editor. Like in starcraft 1 where you load up custom map and in-game skirmish options.

    it shows me “victory” when i open a map and even when i press “restart” it happends again … anyone’s familier with it ?
