Mytheon MMORPG Errors, Crashes, Bugs, and Fixes

Mytheon is a free to play MMORPG made by Petrolyph Games. Role Playing Games fans are surely going to like this one.

Since the game has been officially launched, all you have to do is register an account, which is free and start exploring the magical world with all the other players out there. There have been some errors, bugs, crashing issues reported in the game as it is still in its early phases of its release.

Updates are expected to resolve these issues meanwhile lets discuss these problems and try fixing them with appropriate solutions.

Mytheon Common Errors, Bugs, Crashes and Fixes

1# The Game Does not Start
Several players have reported that their game won’t start after they launch it. There are multiple reasons for problems like this with Direct X, RAM or the available Disk Space.

2# Game can’t Load
If your game is taking awful long time to load then its logical that your connection to the server has been stuck somewhere and you need a restart. So, use Alt+F4 to exit the client and then try reloading it. Most probably Your game will load normally this time.

3# Can’t Finish The Quest
If you are having trouble with completing a certain quest then the best solution you have is, to quit the quest and go to the person who assigned you the quest and accept it again.
Logging out and then logging back in may also help the cause.This solution may seem annoying but since there are no updates, you will have to bear with it for the time being.

4# Characters Became Invisible
You don’t need to be worried about it as it may happen with you for more than once.It can be mainly due to communication problem with the server. So try to login again for a couple of times atleast, If does not solve your problem then I suggest you contact forums admins by following this link

5# Servers Down
If you are getting timeouts and server seems to be offline to you then you should report the admins using the following link.

You will have to tell them your game location and the time you faced the timeout.Reporting is better than to just scratch your head at nothing.

6# Avatar Failed to Login
If you are continuously being thrown to the character customization screen with this error then restarting the Game Client and hoping that it will just go away is your only hope.

7# Mouse Movement Problems
Mouse movements can cause problem sometime.Best solution is that you try to reconnect. If this does not solve the problem then try deactivating Hardware Mouse. This may cause the mouse to lag a bit but you will feel the difference in overall performance.

8# Vendor Crashes
There is a resourceful NPC in the Argos who keeps on crashing most of the times you approach him. Your patience is required here. Most of the times Vendor is restarted and your game gets back to normal after being freezed for a moment.

9# Client Freezing Pause Sluggish Motion
If you are facing continuous freezes then you must not worry as there are many others having the same problem. It is due to server being overloaded some times. There is no permanent solution yet but you can try left click 4 or 5 times off the road and then suddenly right click on the map to reduce the pause due to client freezing.

10# Stone Lock Down
It can be due to several reasons, most of the times it happens when you die.There are some other forms too like just can’t use the stones while the player can move or vice versa. There are two possible solutions, First is reconnect the client and you will be fine or you need to warp to the Hub (Argos) the warp to the instance. This usually solves the problem. If you are not able to do that then the first method is your only solution.

11# Game Crashes while Selling/Buying
It is not a common bug now as it has been fixed lately. But still if you are having this trouble then I will suggest you to buy or sell items slowly or you can also use the auto sell/buy option which reduces the chance of your Game Client being crashed.

12# Can’t Receive Goods at Auction
It is annoying that you buy something and you actually don’t get it specially when you have spent a larger amount. It happened with some players, but currently no possible solution has been devised for this one.

13# Mail Problem
This issue seems to have been resolved by now. But if you are still having problems, you can contact the administration for help.

14# Character can’t be Loaded
There are some players facing this problem.Developers have resolved this issues internally as no other workaround is helpful. So all you can do is mail them to fix your problem.

15# Launcher Problem
If you get an error on the launch screen i.e you can’t load the launcher then you can try the following solution.
Open the task manager, select the processes tab, and end the “launcher.ui.exe” process. Alternatively restarting your computer may solve the problem.

16# Character Deletion after Realm Crash
Realm crashes can create several problems for you like sometimes your character won’t return after the crash. Well’ the good news is that most of the time this character absence is not permanent and your character comes back after some time. This is something that developers can solve only as it is an internal server error.You can report the mods about your problem.

These are some common problems faced by the Mytheon community. As mentioned before that the game is still in its beta stages, many problems are still pending to be solved. Mods are working on it and hopefully, we will have a proper update that will fix the major issues of the game.
