What if there is no HD tab for a video you like on Youtube?and even if there is a tab for HD, it doesn’t give you the quality you were expecting.Wondering what to do in these circumstances ? luckily there are some other useful methods which can help you watching your favorite Youtube videos on a descent (HD) resolution and these are:

• You can transform every video to HD quality on Youtube by adding a small code snippet at the  end of the link of video being watched.The code is:

If this code does not work for you then you can replace 18 in the code with 6 like mentioned below:

&fmt=6

Resulting resolution of video with these codes will be 480X360 giving video an MP4 quality result or sometimes even better.

• If you don’t want to adopt the above mentioned procedure and are using Firefox then you should use Youtube 0.4.2 add-on for Firefox.You can adjust your settings for Youtube videos in tools add-ons menu.

• If you owe a fast speed Internet connection then you can also adjust settings in Playback setup in your account settings in order to see and play available HD videos on Youtube.
