Firefox is world’s most popular browser by far and there are lot of things about it that most of us don’t know. Keeping that in mind we have compiled few Firefox performance tweaks to help you run it more efficiently.
Firefox Performance Tweaks
In address bar type “about:config” (without quotes), it will show you a warranty warning, just press “I’ll be Careful, I Promise” because this procedure will not cause any damage.
Now in “Filter” text box type the key name and change values to the given ones.

Other Tweaks to Improve Firefox performance
1. Increase size of the Disk Cache: OPTIONS > ADVANCED > NETWORK > change OFFLINE STORAGE MEMORY to 150 MB.
2. Decrease History Size: OPTIONS > PRIVACY > select CUSTOM SETTINGS for history from the drop-down menu and reduce Time of Remembered History to 15 days.
3. In OPTIONS > ADVANCED > ACCESSIBILITY
a) Search for the Text when I start Typing CHECK
b) Use Smooth Scrolling UN-CHECK
c) Check my Spelling as I Type UN-CHECK
d) Always check to see if Firefox is the UN-CHECK
default browser on start up.
4. Use “about:Blank” as your Home Page, it will pop-up the FireFox quickly at Start.
