Call of Duty World at War Map Pack 3 Nazi Zombies Der RieseIf you think Verrukt was bad, and Shi No Numa really pushed you to your limit then embrace yourself with more  intense gameplay of Nazi Zombie Map “Der Riese” recently released by Treyarch. You can’t blame them for keep on working on the zombie part of the World at War because you are partly the reason for them doing that.

I mean, 1 million downloads on the first day of release of every freaking zombie map, wtf? And then people say “Enough Zombies FGS”. Well that’s not strange, as always critics and freaking gamers don’t go the same path, it has been proven many times, with  some games getting the poor rating and still becoming the most played games over the weekend.

Hilarious? anyhow “Der Riese” another zombie installation in the popular Call of Duty World at War zombie mode has been around for weeks now and has proven to be rather mysterious for everyone. Lot of gameplay changes, new machines, new guns, and storyline mysterious as ever.

Der Riese means Zombie factory, it’s a former secret Nazi research facility, now turned into zombie paradise. It features the Pack a Punch machine, a device capable of upgrading your weapon with a touch of a button. The map is connected by teleporters to move from one place to another and in times these teleporters will be very crucial for surviving zombies and hell hounds.

What’s New in Der Riese?
There are lot of new interesting things in Der Riese that were not present in previous zombie maps, Verrukt and Shi No Numa.

Carpenter
Carpenter is new power up added in this map, it appears as a hammer and instantly repairs all the windows of Der Riese map, in turn slowing down the zombies and giving your team enough time to regroup.

Bowie Knife
Bowie knife is an all new weapon featured in Der Riese and does the one hit kill till round 19 with an ability to do much damage in the later rounds as well. It’s a bad ass weapon to survive in times when you are out of ammo. It is found after opening the door leading to Teleporter C and will cost you around 3000 points.

Monkey Bomb
Monkey bomb is a type of secondary weapon, a sort of toy mounted with grenade. It is alternative to your secondary grenade with 3 held at a time and refills with max ammo power ups. It is found in mystery box and attracts all zombies around him before detonating and destroying everything in its area of effect. But the most noticeable thing is that it requires several seconds to pull it out and throw it, making it a slow weapon so use it intelligently.

CODWW_PackAPunchPack a Punch Machine
Pack a Punch Machine is the new upgrade machine featured in Der Riese Zombie Map. The concept is the same as of Perk a Cola Machine or Mystery Box but Pack a Punch machine actually upgrades your weapon in hand and in a way enhance it but it doesn’t necessarily upgrades every weapon, the weapon should be compatible, meaning Pack a Punch machine supported weapon, but it allows majority upgrades of weapons found in Der Riese.

You can use  Pack a Punch machine if you have electricity on, all three teleporters are linked to the mainframe, a compatible gun and cost of upgrade which is 5000 points.

The upgrade effects of Pack a Punch machine on weapons are still questionable but here is the list of weapons that we know and the upgrade effect of Pack a Punch machine on them.

Mystery Surrounding Type 99
Whether you have started Der Riese Nazi Zombie Map or have been playing non stop, it’s an annoying fact that Type 99 is still to be found. No one in the gaming community has got his hands on this mysterious weapon yet. Considering the seriousness of the situation, here are the few facts that we know about Type 99.

We all know that by triggering “Elevate your Senses” achievement, it starts a mini game where you have to find certain objects scattered all over the map. After you have successfully recovered all these objects, Type 99 should appear in the mystery box but that hasn’t happened yet.

Gathering data from all over the gaming community, it’s safe to say that the objects found by most of gamers were “Teddy bear holding a bowie knife” (located at the main frame on the window ledge to the left), “Teddy bear with juggernog bottle” (located inside the animal cage by the trench gun) and “The Monkey” (located inside the furnace by the Thompson).

There are two of these Monkeys that make the total hidden objects 4 (Teddy Bears x2, Monkeys x2).

Rumor has it that if you have recovered these objects then Type 99 should appear in the mystery box but that’s a big IF, you know. As far as Treyarch is concerned, they released this mysterious weapon in the Pack a Punch Machine Weapon List so there is no denying that it exists for sure.

It’s either as if there is another object to be found after activating “Elevate Your Senses” mini game or it’s an error in the game at Treyarch ends, either way it’s a mystery not resolved yet. Got something about Type 99? Share with us in Comments.

How to use Fly Trap to Activate “Elevate Your Senses”

Der Riese Achievements/ Trophies

Elevate Your Senses- To get this you must have a weapon that has been upgraded through pack a punch machine. It won’t work unless the gun is upgraded. Follow the video tutorial to find it. Anyway if you for some reason can’t find it, face the pack a punch machine, open the door on your right and it’s a window opening on the left.

Locksmith – There are total of 9 doors in the map, open all the doors to get this trophy. Well it isn’t that difficult. All of these will be open, once you have linked teleporters. If you have trouble finding all of them, search around a bit during early rounds along with your friends and you will be able to open them but only in early rounds so that you don’t meet much zombie resistance.

40 Knives – Get a Bowie Knife and kill 40 zombies with it and that’s it.

Der Electrician – To have this trophy, you need to link all the teleporters before round 7.

Frequent Flyer – This trophy is rather easy to get, just use teleporters atleast 8 times and you are done.

Wacker Packer – You will have this trophy when you upgrade your weapon with Pack a Punch machine for the first time.

The Might of the Monkey – You will achieve this trophy when you will use “The Monkey Bomb” for the first time.

Perkaholics Anonymous – Get this trophy by surviving till round 20 without buying any perk.

Acquire Waffle Weapons – Obtain the Ray Gun, Wunderwaffe DG-2 and the Monkey Bomb at the same time in a game to achieve this trophy.

Pack Addict - Upgrade 5 weapons at the Pack-a-Punch Machine to get this baby.

Few Notes
FG-42 is a weapon that now can be bought of the wall for 1500 points.
Zombies can now climb certain ledges and fences.
Mystery box once again is pointed by a trail of light from the sky. This time however the light is blue and comparatively harder to spot.

Der Riese Map Guide
Well layout of Der Riese is somewhat larger then the previous two zombie maps Verrukt and Shi No Numa, for the starter it may seem huge. Patience is recommended while playing this map, you will get used to it after several rounds of continuous gameplay.

The vast train will force you to focus on team work more then ever, relying on each other for watching your back is more then necessary now. Anyway we have a good enough Map guide to get you through the basics so read carefully comrade.

CODWW_MP3_DerRiese_Map

Der Riese Rooms
There are several rooms in der riese, the starting room is just outside the factory. There are barricades against the zombies, two either side of each, one to side of power generator and one down to the doorway. There are two rooms that lead outside the starting room and the pack a punch machine is just behind the main frame.

Right Factory Room
after opening the door on the right, you will see a barricade containing a double barreled shotgun and a door that leads to a different room. Watch out for the railing above, from where the ugly zombies can jump down from, there is also two brick walls in the room that should be taken care of. When you switch on the generator, this room gets connected to the left factory room as well as the Mystery box spawning room.

Right Hallway
after opening the door that leads out of the right factory room, you get in to the right hallway. This is where you will find a staircase leading towards a box, where you will find few barricades and Thompson.

Left Factory Room
after opening the door on the left, you will find a barricade guarding an ally and a locked door. When the power is turned on, this room gets connected to the right factory room and the mystery box spawning room.

Left Hallway
after opening the door that leads out of left factory room, you will end up in left hallway. It has trench gun and two barricades. There is a staircase leading to a box barricade and another locked door leading to teleporter 2 room.

Teleporter 1
You will find a locked door to the right balcony of mystery box spawning room that door leads to the room containing one of the teleporters as well as the mystery box spawning point. There is also barricade in this room.

Teleporter 2
Open the locked door in the left hallway, and you will enter a room with yet another teleporter. There is also a barricade here that requires our attention because zombies can access this one. If a player goes up to staircase in this room, he will be able to clearly see a balcony type wall, from where they can shoot down zombies entering first room. There is a barricade in this balcony type room which also contains a mystery box spawning point.

Mystery Box Spawning Room
Open either of the box barricade in either hallway and you will end up in a balcony, an area just outside the factory. You will find juggernog placed to the left of the boxes on the left side. Now if you jump off the roof, you will come across mystery box sitting next to the power generator.

You will find doors leading to teleporter 3 and teleporter 1. The double tap root beer can be found on the right side of the balcony. When the power is turned on, a bridge folds down connecting the two balconies and the room connects with the left and right factory rooms.

Teleporter 3 Room
Open the door in the mystery box spawning room and that will lead you to a building in the factory. You will find a bowie knife placed at entrance of that building and inside it, lays the final teleporter. You will find a set of stairs, mystery box spawning point, a cave and a balcony here.

The balcony in question is just outside the building and can be used to shoot down the approaching zombies. You will find a barricade behind the balcony. There is door here that leads to another room with quick revive.

Why Electricity?
Der Riese just like Verrukt is electricity dependent, and there are lots of things that require electricity to be switched on. Let’s say to link teleporters, open certain doors, and to use Perk a Cola machines, and Pack a Punch Machine.

Use of Teleporters
To link the teleporter, you need to approach the teleporter, and hold action button. Once you do this, a timer will appear for 30s and within that time you need to return to the spawn room and link it to the mainframe. Pack a Punch machine requires all three teleporters to be linked to the mainframe. When they are linked you can teleport from one node to mainframe never vice versa or to another node.

After many teleports, sometimes an evil girl announcer will say “uh-oh” and no power up will be dropped. It is then possible for a hell hound to appear, it’s not yet confirmed whether you need to activate fly trap first before this can happen. If you know anything about that, share with us.

Der Riese Strategy
Der Riese is a large map as compared to its predecessors so sticking together as a team and communication is more then important now. Your success lies on these two factors which will decide the outcome of the game. The more cohesive and communicative you as a team, more chances of survival you have.

As the zombies are far more deadly then before, their attack power and high speed has forced us to prefer juggernog and speed cola to save our skins from the advancing hordes of zombies and upgraded hell hounds.

Now linking up teleporters before round 10 should be your top most priority or you won’t survive in the later rounds. Try to grab a decent weapon off the wall or mystery box and hopefully with juggernog, you will have more chances to survive when you connect all teleporters and move on.

Most important tip in surviving is to not to rush for perks or teleporters in the heat of rounds. Wait for the wave of zombies to slow down near the end of the round, either make them slow crawler by throwing a nade or trap a zombie behind a window with one member baby sitting the zombie while others getting all  the perks and whatever they want with ease.

Once you have linked up all the teleporters and have access to pack a punch machine, that’s where the game finally begins. You can either camp in the teleporter rooms to fend off oncoming zombies specifically the warehouse holding teleporter C can be used as a barricade against zombies.

Fetch some MG’s to cover the ground floor while others man the upper window and take care of the stragglers. Still with all these tips, you can only survive team work and good communication in the later rounds.

That’s all for the basic part of it, I won’t be sharing any of my mumbo jumbo this time, let’s talk all about the crazy strategies and tactics used to pawn zombies as long as we can. Share, suggest your very own attacking/camping strategies and tactics you used to reach certain level and do tell us how far you have gone using that strategy. So now let’s talk.

i have teleported with out doing the fly trap and gotten the hell hounds instead of a perk that was about round 13 singal player . i have been playing singal player and split sceen . singal player round 18 split screen 23 . monkeys and bettys are a must for split screen . for singal bettys are a must jug/speed cola are a must .my weapon is the ppsh 41. 71 rounds befor up grade good rate of fire and stopping power .when it becomes the reaper even better. in the room with teleporter 3 there is a set of step leading to a box location . go to the end of that walk way setting bettys up so they dont set off at the same time . these is where i camp made it to round 18 . they funnal in to you . no glices other then the zombies running past you when you shot them singal player . with split sceen same deal .your buddy or you take knee and one has high and the other one has low one of you should have monkeys made it to level 23 weapons are the key . there are two ways off the balcany left and a right window and the realling .thats all i have for now . woking on getting the typ 99

  3. dave edward harrison says:

I have got to level 30, and get to the high 20′s nearly everytime(depending on weapons from the box and other players working as a team), and these I have found are the best tactics, but they require every member of your team to work together and be very dsciplined.
stay by the main frame until at least three players have 1750 points, and the forth at least 950, then as you face the pack-a-punch machine open the right hand door, then another player opens the next door and the third clears the stairs, you then enter the courtyard with the first box, each player takes a turn at the box to get a decent weapon, you then all go to the back wall on the small steps in a straight line crouched down and mow down any zombies, the first dogs should be next so move your team to the corner by the electric grid switch, two players stand with their backs to the wall so that the only way the dogs can come is from your front, the second two players then kneel in front of them, they must ensure THEY DO NOT STAND UP OR MOVE as the people at the back cant shoot when they stand or move, do another round or two here before creating a crawler and opening the big door with the bowie knife behind it, there are two places to fight zombies here, up on the balcony in the corner for zombies and down the stairs beside the teleporter against that back wall for the dogs as in both they cannot get at you from anywhere but the front.
You will find it very easy to rack up points here until you have enough to link the teleporters and pack-a-punch weapons, making a crawler in these later rounds is essential to get a weapon load-out you are happy with and to get perks and pack-a-punches.
towards level 20 upwards is when it gets difficult, by this level you MUST ensure at least 2 players have monkey bombs and all have bowie knives and two upgraded weapons each.
then on the balcony as in earlier levels camp out by making sure 2 players stand at the back firing and two people knell directly in front of them as close as they can get, THE TWO AT THE FRONT MUST NOT STAND OR MOVE ABOUT or the two at the back cannot fire and you will all DIE, the only reason I have died on der riese is for exactly that reason, lack of discipline, if one at the front is over run they need to stay still and use the bowie knife, if they go down someone can throw a monkey bomb and revive them, better that than move or stand and the people at the back cant shoot, leaving only the one next to you, you WILL all DIE without a bit of discipline and teamwork.
I also think that one of your upgraded weapons should be the stg44 as there is a reload point on the wall downstairs from the balcony, so as in later rounds ammo is scarce you can drop a monkey bomb outside, nip downstairs and grab some ammo and get back in plenty of time to continue the fight.

  7. ThaZombieKing says:

I have made it to 24 with two people split screen….28 with two people online….and 31 and 33 respectively with 3 and 4 players…there are two ways I found this to work.

    1. DO NOT BUY A GUN until you are in the MP-40 room (let all the zombies in during rounds 1-3 for a max ammo or perk to help out)…Open up the first door near the shotgun room after round 2 or towards the middle of round 3 whenever you have enough (2500) between all players…you want to try to leave everybody with 1000 pts. after you open the door to the right if your facing pack-a-punch and the door to the shotgun room….then you want to open the teleporter with the mp-40….everyone buys an MP-40….after round four and as soon as someone has 1000 pts. to open the stairs…send them to the power…the other one or two run to the mainframe…(this can be done during the early rounds if your good enough.)….after you link the 1st teleporter…if someone else has 750 send them to the teleporter above the thompson room…but only through the shotgun room….the blocked in stairway leading to the thompson room MUST STAY CLOSED THE ENTIRE GAME….After you have one and two linked…camp in the box round through the first and probably the second round of dogs….hit the box routinely throughout this span….somewhere around round 11 or so you should have enough pts. to get at least juggernaut and maybe the speedy reload….if you do not have something automatic you need to keep hitting the box until you do….The optimal weapons to get at least to round twenty….at least two need an MG or Browning…and one needs monkey bombs….YOU NEED A CRAWLER AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE….everytime you have a crawler you need to get the perks and at least a heavy machine gun….once you are around round 12 you should be opening the last teleporter and linking it…after it is linked you should open up the thompson room it costs 1500 total….once inside…one person at each window…and the two with the best guns should watch the main door….

They key to surviving here is…somewhere around 20 you should be activating the electric barrier everytime it comes back online….this will severly decrease the zombie load….and help you protect the windows and get reloaded….you should alternate between windows and door based on ammo supply of teammates and max ammo availability…pay attention to how many rounds have passed since the dogs…because its usually about 3-4 rounds before dogs….now…IT IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED THAT BY ROUND 20 THAT SOMEONE HAS A RAY GUN and by 25 EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE AN UPGRADED RAY GUN all their perks…SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE THE WAFFLE…and at least two (hopefully everybody) has monkey bombs…I held down this thompson room with two other guys turning on the power everytime it came online till round 32….if it becomes to crazy run up the stairs open them up and run the balcony near teleporter C….that should let the zombies reqroup…and come in a swarm…just mow them down with the waffle…and if you are runnign to the balcony….aand they are right on your back…run straight into the teleporter and wait till there close and teleport to the mainframe…as soon as you land grab the perk…blast your way to the first teleporter and repeat till the end of the round and you can regroup on the balcony of Teleporter C….

ONCE THE STAIRS TO TELEPORTER B are open there is NO CHANCE Of holding down the thompson room….DO NOT GO BACK….At the start of the round one teammate should sit down by the Original box spawn point and hit the power as soon as zombies are close to them and then run back to the catwalk…

Just a few pointers….you should always through a monkey bomb the moment someone goes down…get them up quickly…you need their ammo in the later round….

By round 30 NO GUN is effective….RAY GUNS WAFFLES AND MONKEY BOMBS are your only defense….it takes almost three shots with the ray gun…so you can imagine how many shots with the MG or Browning it takes….at least 100 …SERIOUSLY

If the power comes online around round 30 and your swarmed you should grab a monkey jump out the window of the catwalk and throw it past the power barrier…run over hit the power and run back up the catwalk and join your team…

NOTHING SHOULD BE WORTH JUMPING OFF THE CATWALK unless it is insta-kill, Max Ammo, or DA BOMB…

IF THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN….you should be constantly informed about your teammates situation (zombie flow, ammo reserves, type of guns, perks, and of course overall comfortability of there location….

If you do not like the thompson room…use the catwalk the whole time….put one person at the window…one or two on the stairs, and whoever has the wunderwaffle needs to be thinning the crowd out of the windows…and providing monkey bombs in times of heavy flow…

One last thing…the hell with what anyone says….the optimal zombie killer should be loaded like so….

    Upgraded MG-42 ( Barracuda)
    Upgraded Ray Gun (Porters)
if you have the waffle forget the MG-42 and it better be upgraded before anything else
    Monkey bombs
    Juggernog
    Speed Cola
    Quick Revive
    Bowie Knife

NO OTHER GUNS SHOULD BE Considered to be upgraded….you could make sure two of your teammates have an STG upgraded alongside their ray guns( for the ammo thats on the wall)…just in case a max ammo hasn\’t come in a while…

Now one last thing…in round 30 and above you need a max ammo every round…if you don\’t have at least 500 round for the MG and a half full ray gun….you are screwed….

so everyone should be smacking the teleporters until they give you a max ammo…it can be costly but it may get you one more round…

WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT LET THE CRAWLER NEAR THE TELEPORTER OR THE MAINFRAME AREA DURING A TELEPORTATION…IT WILL KILL IT AND YOU WILL BE FORCED TO RUN TO YOUR ENCAMPMENT BEFORE THE NEXT WAVE BEGINS..

hopefully you take heed and this leads you to success….and if you beat 33 without cheating let me know….because I Want to see it on the leader board….and I WANT TO BEAT IT

  8. Dan C says:

Hi guys, Can\’t seem to find sensible people to play Der Riese with, if you fancy a game please feel free to add me, i have a headset too!

  9. mwc45 says:

i know how to get type99, follow these steps.

    1. activate fly trap

    2. buy bowie knife(just listen)

    3. kill bear holding bowie knife (only man w/bowie knife)

    4. buy juggernog

    6. kill teddy holding juggernog (only man w/juggernog)

    7. get monkeybombs

    8. throw monkeybomb in furnace with monkey (only 1 monkey, ive searched whole map)

    9. she may say game over or u won, depends, type99 is in box, but u have a 1/1,000,000 chance of getting it

    10. be careful, if she says game over, its game over in a few rounds

  10. Chris says:

My mate sid he got the type 99 but i dont believe him btw there is no teddy on the moon, it is just a pattern to make it look more realistic

  11. EZBAKEFROMHELL (live profile) says:

ok,(read all of it before trying step by step) i have a solution they i recommend all gamers to try to possibly get the type 99 (i have not tried this but it might work i want u to just try and comment back) (rileyhelms1@gmail.com)(or add me on facebook i usually dont check my e-mail.)name is riley helms)

    1. let one gamer set the fly trap any weapon.
(need lots of cooperation and sacrifice)
    2. have another gamer kill the teddy bear with the bowie knife only having the bowie knife and the m1911 pistol.
    3. have another player only have juggernog and an upgraded pistol. then kill the second teddy bear in the cage.
    4. and then for the monkey have one player only have molitave cocktail and throw it at the monkey. also have the first gamer that set the fly trap throw a mokey bomb in the furnace at the same time.
    5. u can try this in different orders or all at the same time after setting the fly trap. then start looking in the mystery box for any signs of the type99.

even though i dont believe its even in there i will still try.

i will add any body who wants to be my friend. -EZBAKEFROMHELL-

  12. MutedCrackhouse says:

Allright I here people talking about the catwalk and whenever i do it it never works. I made it to day 31 doing my method with 4 people. Make sure u read the whole thing first and it is crucial that you DO NOT open the the staircase to the upstairs in the Thompsan room

    1. To begin with make sure everyone gets one window and uses their pistol and knife up untill about the begining of day 4.

    2. From there make you\’re way left (from the pack a punch machine) towards the trench gun. Get one guy to get the first door then another to get the next door and finaly one to get the one on the stairs. Then get your whole team to go to the box. Make sure everyone gets atleast one try at the box.

    3. Stay at the same place until everyone on you;re team can afford juggernog and speeed cola. Neer the end of the round make a crawler. Make sure everyone buys the perks and after wards that you have enough points to open up each teleprter rooms. Link all of the teleporters. Hopefuly this is all done before day 11. Don;t kill the crawler till you have done this. Remeber to keep hitting the box until everyone has good guns.

    5. Now that all the teleporters are conected and everyone has guns and the door to the staircase in the thompsan room IS NOT OPEN, get evveryone to camp in Teleporter B room. You get 2 people to get the door and 1 person on each window. Make the guys with the 2 best guns to get the windows, trust me those windows are dammn hard compared to the door. IF you get the flamethrowe out of the box KEEP IT. It is the best weapon for the windows. You rack up points and kill zombies like nothing. Also the Bowie knife is a prety good tool for the windows.

    6. Now that you have set up camp now its all about you;re luck and skill. This plan should be really easy up until day 20 dpeendin on you;re guns. Remeber try to get all the perks (Double tap is optional) and if someone dies and needs to get the perks again wait till the end of the round. Try and get a crawler or lock somthing out of a window as much times as possible at the end of a round. It\’s a good chance for you;re team to regrpup, by ammo, or even go to the bathroom. Remeber to keep hitting the box to get the best weapons poosble. My best sugestion are have at least 2 people with monkey bombs (4 would be great), everyone with a packed ray gun, the 2 guys at the window each having a packed flamethrower, and atleast 1 guy with the wunderwafle.

    7. If something goes wrong late in the game and someone dies out you need to go to resort to another tactic. IF only one guy dies out what you should do is have the three guys teleport there asses out of there. Pick up whatever perk comes into the middle (hope for insta kill) and run into the room with the thompsan. It crucial that the upstaris isnt open or else you will die no mater what. Once everyone is in turn on the electric barier and then have you\’re 3 guys go crazy. Shoot the zombies for as long as u can. Turn on the barier as soon as the power comes bak and make sure u watch the 2 windows in the room. That will hopfuly make u get throught the round.
Now ssay back in room B 2 people died then it is a completly diferen story, Hopefuly these 2 guys are good because they need to be prety slick. THe two should teleport and from there go crazy. They need to run around shooting as many zombies as posible doing whatever they can to survive. THe best thing they can do is after teleporting colectiong wahtever comes in the middle and then runing to the left side. Turn on the power after u run throug there and then go bak to B. Have both guys stand in the teleport and shooot the zombies. When you;re feeling swamred teleport. The teleproter will kill the zombies. Keep doing that pattern over and over untill u make it to the next round and you\’re boys are back.

Remeber to stay sharp and good luck.

I just heard a new rumor that u have to open the box (after setting the fly trap) 99 times, and on the 99th time u get the type 99.

  17. EZBAKEFROMHELL (live profile) says:

i found a new strategy, ok save your points to about 5500, then be the first one to open the box, you get the wonderwaffe almost every time, and if you don’t, you’ll and up with mg 42, a browning, a ray gun, or usually a ppsh.
Trust me! i do it all the time! If u wait till your points r even higher, you’ll definitely get the wonderwaffe

-setting the flytrap is a must! I was recently playin at a friends house and i was using teleporters, but when i got to the mainframe, the little demon girl’s voice says a comment like “having fun”. (or something else) She then releases 6 or 7 hell hounds after you’ve teleported.-”notice” you do not get max ammo-. The flytrap will keep that from happening.

A friend and I made it to day 38 on split screen. Try for the mg 42 and ray gun. If you dont get them by day ten start getting your perks. There are two doors between you and the 2nd teleporter. The one with the trench gun… Don’t open them. Instead work your way the other way around. Still leaving both closed, in order to get the teleporters conected. Then have one person on window and the other shooting the zombies down the alleyway. We where fine till day 28 and then had to start running. When you have to start running run to the 2nd teleporter. right after you open the door there is a fly trap for you to pull. that will help you get to the teleporter without hafting to watch your but. after that just camp teleporters, and run like no other. Then pray you don’t run out of ammo. It’s what happened to us, and that’s how we ended up dying. Bowie knives on day 38 aren’t that helpfull….

  25. moose84 says:

My roommate and i made it to round 39 the other night. The strategy we used is somewhat similar to what other people of said it differs in many ways.

In round 4 wait until you have to to open the doors leading to the thompson room. Once there alternate who opens each door and run upstairs and jump down to the area with the power. One of you runs and buys the FG 42 while the other turns on the power. After the other player gets the FG 42 you kill the rest of the zombies. The reason i say get the FG is because it still has a lot of take down power into the later rounds. If the box is screwing you, you can still make it with that gun.

Usually in round 6 or 7 both players have enough for jugger and you must get that first. Speed is the next one but you can make it until later rounds. For the next few rounds hold off the zombies and take pulls of the box. Hopefully before it moves one of the players can get an MG or at the very least monkeys (FYI if both players don’t have monkeys keep pulling until the other one does, you won’t make it unless both players have monkeys).

For the next rounds its pretty much get points and take pulls until you get a ray gun and a MG or PPSH. DONT GET THE WAFFLE…THERE IS A GLITCH THAT IF YOU HAVE IT YOU CAN BE DOWNED IN FEWER HITS EVEN WITH PERKS!!!! Once both players have good guns (ray gun, MG or PPSH) start linking transporters. We usually don’t link many of them at once because of the money issues but if you pull alot along the way the box will most likely have moved into teleporter rooms so that is taken care of.

Once all teleporters are linked upgrade your ray gun first and if you have the money your other gun too. Depending on when you can do all of the this (sometime around 21-24)there are too many zombies to kill and if you try to shoot all of them you will run out of ammo really fast.

So to keep that from happening we started standing on the ledge over were the power is and letting all the zombies spawn in that area first. Once there are too many drop down and activate the fence. Then run to the teleporter behind you and make a stand there. If you feel like your getting over run in the teleporter, hit the button and get out of there. I’d rather spend the money then die. Once at the middle run to the thompson room wait for the zombies to come hit the fence and run back up to the ledge again. In all honesty we did this from round 26 to 38 and the only reason we died is because we ran out of ammo.

It does take alot of money to do this strategy but if you use your MG and monkeies keeping your points high enough to do it shouldn’t be that hard. We didn’t have trouble until 36-37 when we started running out of ammo.

FYI..after round 30-31 there are no more dog rounds so no more max ammos to look forward to. Conserve ammo as best you can and use the fences. There is no shame in letting the electricity do the work for you. It’s about making it to the next round.

And by the way i don’t understand way people like the Bowie knife. I’ve bought it once and didn’t really like it.

  29. Mystang115 says:

Me and my friend got to level 42 on split screen. It is our highest level so far. Our guns are either the ray gun, ppsh, mg42, browning, and always includes the wunderwaffe (all of which are upgraded). Monkeys are a must, as well as Bouncing Bettys! Speed cola, Juggernog, and Quick revive are musts, as well. Double-tap wastes ammo too fast, especially with the ray gun, ppsh, and mg42! We have determined after much deliberation that it is all dependant on Max Ammo!! At the higher levels, like in the 30s+, you have two empty guns or close to it at the end of EACH round (except the Wunderwaffe, which is the reason we use it. Kills numerous zombies instantly with one shot and racks up decent points in the process!). We don’t start to struggle until ammo is getting low, or we accidentally reload at the same time which = BAD! We usually camp on the catwalk at the very back with bettys surrounding us for protection when needed. One aims the wunderwaffe at the bottom of the stairs and takes out the GROUPS of zombies, not single ones or 2-3. The other is facing straight down the catwalk mowing down whatever I let make it up the stairs, and whatever else that comes out of the window that is up there. When in doubt, THROW A MONKEY!! (Both players should have Monkeys) At the higher levels the dogs aren’t a big deal, they do very little damage in comparison to the zombies. Just don’t let a bunch corner you. And the rest is just hoping that those nuclear bombs, insta kills, carpenters, and (most importantly) Max Ammos come out of the zombies! When you see a Max Ammo, throw a monkey! Throw them all if you want. YOu get them ALL back with the Max Ammo. And the rest is just how good you are at video games. Nazi Zombies FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

  30. Alvin says:

Me and a friend of mine have hit level 30 plus over 10 times now and last night we managed 40 on split screen with no cheating.

Most strategies outline the basics ok but people seem to have the weapons all wrong.
It is crucial that both players must have a ray gun upgraded one must have and upgraded machine gun (mg42 is best) and the other an upgraded wunderwaffe. Both Players need monkeys to pull this off.

The guns I have mentioned are only really necessary from level 25 upwards. Before that you can hold down the platform with the stairs with most upgraded machine guns which will get you most points.

I won’t give too much away but to get as far as possible the ray gun should keep the walkway clear while the wunder is shot at the bottom of the stairs.

The teleport method will cause you to run out of points and die eventually. With this method if you run out of ammo then hold down the platfrom with a ray gun and mg42 and wait for the max ammo to come.
With practice it is very consistent. Good Luck!

With the gun glitch it is possible to have all those guns.
I swear i am not lieing about that glitch.

  34. Patronedheart says:

I soloed der reise to lvl 25 with the method I use. With a partner, we made it to lvl 52. No glitches, just alot of running. Start in main area, maximize points as much as you can, pray for max ammo, get thompson 1st, around middle of 3rd round. DO NOT OPEN UP STAIRS IN THOMPSON ROOM. It will cause more zombies where you don\’t want them later on. Get as far in 4th round in mainframe room as you can, standing by door to trench and when you get overwhelmed, open the door, and go into that little area before trench. Zombies will line up and you can get more points. Use pistol as much as you can if you get max ammo to get points. If you get overwhelmed, open door to trench and slowly back up as you light up the line of zombies coming at you. Grab the trench when you can. Stay in this hallway as long as you can, and try to get enough points to open the stairs here and get jugger at the same time (1200 + 2500 = 3700) If you\’re good, you can also grab betties. You want to get jugger before the dogs. They\’re easy with it. When you start getting overwhelmed, or you get enough points, open stairs, get jugger, and drop down to the box. DON\’T TOUCH THAT BOX! YOU DON\’T NEED IT YET. Leave a couple of zombs, turn on elec, go back up and get jugger (and betties if you can). You should be able to do this by the dogs level (usually 6).

When the dogs come, crouch near the back teleporter door in the box room and blast them with your shotgun and get a happy feeling when you grab that ammo box because you\’re probably out of tommy ammo by now. Hold out here as long as you can. If you have betties, place them near the door. When you get overwhelmed, open the door, and run to the back catwalk near the teleporter (not up the stairs). Go up the small set of stairs in front of the teleporter, and stand in front of the broken railing near the STG. Get the STG if you\’re out of tommy ammo and you have the points.

This is where the the fun begins, and where you\’ll always start at the beginning of every round from now on. When the round starts, and the zombs get to the bottom of the stairs in front of the teleporter, drop down through the broken railing, go up the stairs in front of you (to the top catwalk). Switch to the trench as you\’re going up the stairs, and blast any zombs coming down the stairs, or through the door. When you get to the top, go left to the window that you can drop down out of, and wait for just a second. At the end of each round, you\’ll want to place betties in front of the window up here that the zombs can come from, and at the top of the stairs. This stalls the zombies chasing you for just a second so you can look out the window. You\’ll see a train of zombs coming from the left, and none, or just one on the right. Drop down, and keep to the right, through the doorway, past the box, and go through that door on the same wall as the switch. The zombies will go toward you, but they\’re not fast enough to get in front of you and stop you. Be careful going through this door because sometimes there will be a stray zomb that will trap you. Just blast him with the trench if he\’s there. When you get through that little hallway, keep to the right, and head back to the trench hallway down that long path. There\’s 2 windows you\’ll pass. Sometimes a zomb will jump out at you. Just blast him, or run by him. When you get to the end, near the open door to the mainframe, switch to STG (or tommy if you have it), turn around, and light up the mob of zombs coming at you for about 2 seconds. Switch back to trench, head down the trench hallway toward the stairs, and when you get to the end, look at left and right windows for zombs. If there are any there, just keep going up the stairs. If not, switch to STG, turn around, and light up zomb mob for 2 seconds. Switch back to trench (seeing a pattern here?), head up stairs, blast or avoid any stray zombs coming, and instead of dropping down, go left and over the bridge. When you get to the end of the bridge, look at the 2 windows to the left and right across from each other. If any zombs are there, just go to the broken railing to the left and drop down to the box room. If not, switch to STG, turn around, light up zomb mob for 2 sec, switch to trench, and drop down. Head back to STG catwalk, and when you get to the 2nd doorway to the teleporter room, switch to STG, light up the mob for 2 or 3 seconds, switch to trench, run up to where STG is and do the whole thing all over again.

I\’ll usually throw grenades before I light up the mob to make crawlies, so I\’ve always got time at the end of each round to do what I need to do, and at the end of each round, I\’ll always go up the stairs to the window on the catwalk, and when the new round begins, I\’ll place a betty in front of it, and then one at the top of the stairs then go back to STG to start my circuit again. When dogs come, I\’ll be up there already, and if I hear the dogs level sounds, I\’ll place both of my betties up there, then run down to the long underground hallway to the right of the teleporter. This is absolutely the best place for the dogs. I never get killed by dogs. With a trench down here, you use the dog\’s ass to mop up the floor, and then kick it for not getting in the corners. After the dogs, I\’ll go and place just one betty on the middle of the stairs (since I already have 2 on top), and that leaves me 1 betty left to get the 3rd gun.

\"How does he get the 3rd gun?\", you\’re thinking? Very simple. Make sure you have 1 betty in your inventory, and the first time you pack-a-punch any one of your guns, put the gun in the punch machine. When it takes it, immediately drop down to the right of the punch machine (if you\’re looking at the machine), buy a gewher, and you\’ll have the 2nd gun, and trench in your inventory. Run back up to the punch machine, and here\’s the tricky part: you have to pull a betty out, and as you\’re pulling it out, you have to hit the button to pull your gun out of the machine. So, I hit my pad to pull out a betty, and a couple of milliseconds later, I hit the button to pull out my gun. Voila! You now have 3 guns. You have to do the whole procedure pretty quick, though, otherwise you\’ll lose your gun because the punch machine will time out. You only have to buy the gewher the first time. After you already have 3 guns, you just put the gun you want to upgrade in the machine, then pull your betty and grab your gun. You just need to make sure you have a betty every time you do.
With 2 players, one player goes a little bit ahead of the other player, and uses the trench to blast any stray zombies. The other player is the one that turns around and lights up the zombies. Then you switch positions every other round so both players can get alot of points. It\’s easier with 2 players because you don\’t have to worry about the stray zombies. 9 times out of 10, when I solo, it\’s that stray zombie that kills me because he\’ll just surprise me around the corner. Most of the time I just run around him if I can, and let him join the mob.
Also, I go to the box after I get that 3rd gun and try to get an MG and monkey bombs. When I get monkeys, I\’ll throw one down at the beginning of the higher rounds, and that ensures I don\’t have a guy coming down the stairs, plus it gets rid of alot more zombies more quickly. I\’ll get more after dogs, or max ammo, anyway.

That\’s it! If I missed anything, or anything is confusing, just let me know.Sorry it\’s so long, but if you try it, you\’ll love it, I guarantee it.
Look me up on PS3. My ID is Patronedheart.
    Happy killing.

I have one small question, prolly obvious but id like an answer nontheless. if your soloing the match, will there be the same amount of zombies in each rounds as if your playing with 2,3, or 4? Or will you get less like im hoping :P

    Thanks

  36. Patronedheart says:

Well, when I play online with four players, there’s twice as many as there are when I play with 2 players. It kinda sucks like that, too because if you start with 4, and 2 drop out, the game just sees that you started with four and still gives you alot more zombies than it normally would with just 2 players. Makes it really hard. Solo, I think there may be less zombies, but not for sure. All I know is that at lvl 24, it took about 10 minutes just to finish the round. When me and my friend played this way and got to lvl 50, it was taking about 10 shots with a packed trench to kill one zombie, so they definately get tougher, if not more numerous! : )

  37. Killer9326 says:

wow, 50 nice, add me on xbox if you want people killer9326 DETERMINED to make it passed 28 lol

  38. Mystang115 says:

I have a question. When me and my friend play splitscreen we usually stay on the catwalk as many rounds as we can hold it down for with various guns. Ranging from MG42, Ray Gun, Wunderwaffe, Browning, PPSH, and sometimes the STG-44 because the ammo is right there, and we have monkeys and all perks. So we stay on the catwalk until it starts getting too difficult or one of us dies, which is around 31-33. Then we start doing the teleporter technique. But we only use the teleporter near the catwalk. We take the teleporter by the catwalk, and then we either go left or right. We go up the stairs on either side depending which way we went, and stay near the bridge where you drop down at until too many zombies are coming. Then we drop down and we back pedal while shooting the zombies that are following. It is critical to be able to find the door way into where the catwalk is and to be able to locate the stairs to the transporter while facing the other way, or you will get stuck and be screwed. But here in lies my question. WHY DOES THE TELEPORTER SOMETIMES NOT WORK??? It is soooo frustrating to be doing so good, and then some random time the teleporter just doesn’t work! We try it, and try it, and try it. But nothing happens! Then we have to scramble, and luckily get a monkey off before one of us dies by the huge crowd of zombies and dogs following us! And even still we can try the teleporter again, and NOTHING! We once wasted 6 monkeys (each of us had 3) trying to get the teleporter to work! And we died because there is pretty much nowhere to run, especially with that volume of zombies. So, DOES ANYONE KNOW THE CRITERIA AS TO WHY THE TRANSPORTER DOESN’T WORK SOMETIMES??? We don’t use the electricity either. I have no idea what makes it not work, and any help would be Great!! Thanks in advance!

  39. Patronedheart says:

There\’s a cool down period that the teleporter has to go through after you use it. I think it\’s either 30 seconds or a minute. You can\’t use it during this time. If that happens, just go up the stairs to the top catwalk, and drop out the window, and make a circuit around by the trench gun, avoiding zombies as you go, and by the time you get back, the teleporter should be back online.

  42. GAME NERD96 says:

The strategy I used seems complicated, but really isnt. This strategy is usally used best for 2 players (could try with 3 or 4 but say is best with 2). The first thing me and my partner do is let the zombies in at the mainframe through round one to round three. then we open the doors that lead to the thompson and open the staircase on round 4. Then we camp at the mystery box and at the teleporter door C until about round 10 or 11. During the rounds 4-11 me and my partner pretty much just kill and make crawlers at the end of the round so we can get the pack a punch linked up and buy perks like Juggernog and Speed Cola and go the mystery box get bouncy betties, etc. Then on round 12 me and my partner camp on the catwalk in room C(open teleporter door C last then when you open it, the next round camp on the catwalk)and we have at least one upgraded weapon and we take turns taking zombies out (usally I’ll have the wunderwaffe and my partner has a ppsh or mg42) and then we you come to the dogs, the person with the wunderwaffe ( if you have one if not just use teamwork to take the dogs out) the person with the wunderwaffe needs to take the dogs before they start coming up the staircase and make sure the ones that spawn at the top get taken out too and if you aim the shots right you could take multiple dogs out at once which will help. When me and my partner camp on the catwalk, I usually have the wunderwaffe and a stg-44 (both upgraded) and my partner has a ray gun and ppsh 41(both upgraded) and we both buy stopping power around round 28 and at 29 we get off the catwalk (remember around 21 and up teamwork means a lot of communication and having each others back or this whols gameplan will be going to waste)and at round 29 me and my partner use the teleporter in the building with us then when we are at the mainframe go left to and pass the m1a1 carbine and enter that hallway and go up the staircase past the Juggernog and over the bridge straight to the teleporter in front of you and camp there until you need to ( if get overwhemled by zombies and theres too many to fight or low on ammo) then teleport and when you teleport pass the m1a1 carbine and go to the hallway again but this time dont go up the staircase, they will kill you if you go up there cause all they do is turn around and come after you from the staircase so go to the teleporter by the trench gun and where you find the bear in the cage and camp there until you need to teleport. After that go to the right and run past speed cola through the archway and run back to C and get ready to fight then teleport (remember to fight long enough for teleporter to cool off so you can get out of there.Thats all I pretty much do and me and my friend got to round 36 and we lasted like 5 minutes in round 36 doing that too. Hope it works r you.

Ok, my son and I have been playing this split screen, and have only gotten to 17. It seems that the success of the game always relies on what the Random Box by the electrical produces. Every strategy says you need this ultimate gun (MG, FG, WW, RG, etc) but how do you improve the odds on getting those guns?? We normally are offered the STG, Double Barrel, Thompson, or some other weak gun.

Second note, the mystery box only allows for 4 purchases and then goes dead. (Teddy sitting on 4 boxes). Does another mystery box spawn somewhere else?

    • D_Steward says:

Hey fellow gamers, I have the best strategy. You guys know the room in the back with ‘quick revive’ and the bowie knife, right? Teleporter C, I think. Anyway, link all teleporters first. Get all your perks. Upgrade your guns. Then camp in the teleporter until you are overwelmed. Press the action button. It kills all zombies in there with you. When u reach the mainframe, run back to the teleporter. You can use any teleporter you choose. I made it to round 23. Me and my new friend, of which I give ALL credit to, M3XIR1CAN95(on ps3). He is a genius. Try this. It took me a while to catch on to what he was doing, we weren’t using mics. But it is a unique strategy that takes timing, precision, knowledge of maps, and daring. You must know the paths that zombies use less frequently, otherwise, you will walk yourself into demise. Thank you. I am D_Steward(on ps3)

  53. Nazinator says:

Okay, here is a strategy that got me and my step-brother to 30.

1-3 Your in the PAP room, and you both knife (oh btw this only works well with 2 people) anyway you both knife. Saving ammo, one of you take the two windows closer to the thompson the other guy take the other windows. Around the end of round 3 (it will get difficult to knife just hold out though, saving ammo is important) you should be tipping the scales at 3000 points easy.

4-6 Your in the thompson room after buying the 2 doors (750 points each) that lead to it. Buy it and use it, forget the colt if you want to upgrade it later (not that great believe me) or get a double barrelled too, don’t use it without speed cola. Around level 6 you should have plenty of points to open the stairs going upstairs.

7-13 Immediately after clearing the debris you find yourself in a room looking at a window, go left and jump down. Have one person buy the box and the other turn the power on. You will camp here buying speed cola and juggernog with crawlers (throw a grenade at like the last zombie or 2). Not much to say here so moving on.

13 You need a crawler at the end of this round, if you don’t get one. Quit and start over. Anyway, if you do then go link up. And go to the catwalk (by teleporter C/bowie knife/quick revive) you are going to buy the stg off the wall unless you have like.. A LMG (browning/mg) and a ray/waffle. If you don’t have those weapons don’t worry you will. You also will need to get monkey bombs before round 15 or it’s over.

14-30 Alright, if you both can get monkeys, waffle/ray, and a LMG you will make it. DON’T SHOOT THE WALL!!!!!!! Only shoot if your sure there is a zombie there, wasting even one bullet could mean death (okay not really but 10+ will). You will start to get like.. 10′s of thousands of points every round which will either A.) Be used for the box. Or B.) 9000 will be saved in case you die (that’s all the perks total cost). And, have fun popping heads.

P.S. Just so you know if you think Tank (American guy) said “Owned!” He does and probably did.

Thank you for this awesome guide! It really helped me a lot!
The colt upgrade is one of my top 3 favorites! Too bad I sometimes have no choice but to switch it out at the mystery box before I get a chance to upgrade it. =( This is usually due to crawler killers, window humpers, kill stealers, and nazi rambos preventing me from making any strategic progress. My current comment bubble says “Sigh… Noobs”
    Add me! KJi16

    • nickman says:

dont bother to save the colt if u have really sucky team mates just get some good weapons then hold out on your own and if people are just neadlesly rushing in and geting kill then dont eavn bother to save them. if you can get really good on your own then it wont really mater that much if the people are really stupid just let them die if they are really good then you need to work together.

    • xXGURTAJXx says:

Here is a strategy I got to round 26 with. in the start basically do whatever you want and get points. at round 4 make teams. 2 people on each team. one team will go through the trench gun room while opening the telepoter doors, clearing debrese, and the other team will go through the thompson room doing the same thing. then both teams will meet up in the middle. Then the next round leave a crawler and hook up both teleporter A and B. Then after getting a good gun kill the crawler and start the next round. stay there for a few rounds until u have enough money for juggernog. when everyone has juggernog open back door and hook up teleporter c. now that the pack a punch is available, camp at the stairs at teleporter c. When camping at teleporter c(Catwalk) many people go and camp all the way at the corner(up on the stairs). That is not a very good idea because when you are there you get trapped easily. Instead of doing that, you should have one person guard the window and the other three people standing right on top of the stairs. You should have the people with rays guns, mgs etc. get the stairs while someone with a shotgun watches the window behind them. That way if you are overwhelmed you can easily go back or escape. Also when you are on top of the stairs and the zombies are coming from the bottom you get more headshots. The after getting more money upgrade your weapons and get everything you need while leaving crawlers every round. I did this with 4 people after one person left at round 6, another left at round 10, and at round 26 i had to go eat so it i died and so did the other guy. we could have gotten pretty far but oh well. I hope this helps you guys that are having trouble getting far in Zombies.

  56. Erikkkkk says:

Ok so my strategy works great. I’ve done it only with two people. Lvl 1 – (let all the zombies in the room without repairing the windows. This will help u get max ammo which u really need!)then…..shoot zombies only 6 times in the body ( not the head) and then kill them with a knife attack. Lvl2(stay in first room) – shoot zombies 9 times then knife. By the end of the lvl u should open the thompson room doors and upstairs while one person gets the teleporter upstairs and the other turns on the power and runs to the mainframe to initiate link. Now run back to mystery box room. Lvl3-4 – by the end if lvl four u and your partner should be able to open the pack a punch. Then, go to the juggernog/ bouncing Betty room. Have one person shoot all the zombies that come over the bridge and the other    Repair the wndows and kill all the zombies. At the sand of each round keep going to the mystery box untill you get a good weapon or just buy an fg42. Once u have enough money, upgrade and buy a bouncing Betty. Lvl7-8 ish- go to the stairs and to the back of them in the teleporter c room. Now go and buy all the perks by makng a crawler or something.. Place buncing bettyz right under u and your pertner at the back. Suprisingly , they really bail you out if you become overwhelmed with zmbies because your partner or u did a stupid reload or something. From lvl 10 on, just basically stay there and keep trying to get and upgrade really good weapons. At the start if every new round, turn on the electric barrie at the original mystery box place then run back to the
stairs. This helps keep the swarms less crazy. That’s pretty much it. I got to lvl 26 with just my one friend using this strategy.

  57. Bobuloso says:

me and my buddy got to 39 with just the two of us. its really not that complicated. most of the stuff NAZINATOR wrote is good. but we dont link the teleporters until like round 17 or so. we’ve made it all the way to 25 without the waffle and only one of us had a ray gun and monkeys. mg 32 is definitely a must. one person can hold the catwalk upstairs if they have the MG and speed reload. the other can sit back and pick up the ones that get close with the ray gun, or really any other gun. at round 19 you will need to have an upgraded weapon so you can mow through the zombies. aim for the head and they drop like nothing. at about 22 or so, you need to keep a crawler and get all your upgrades and good weapons. we usually keep about 4-5 alive so if one dies off its no big deal. at round 32 or so you will start really scraping for ammo, keep at least one monkey each so if a max ammo pops up you can toss a monkey and get it. anytime after 30 it is good to start teleporting and making a run for it. hope this helps. we rarely die before round 30( with just 2 of us), so its a pretty solid strategy.

  61. Wpnfire says:

Uhh I play on PS3; Wpnfire is my account. I was going to share my strategy but that was going to take way too long to type out. I’ve made it to 37 by myself and to be honest, I don’t really care if people that have commented here have better scores than that, I’m just looking for someone who wants to have FUN because that’s what this game is for. Having fun… I know every glitch in the game, I know strategies like you couldn’t even believe, and I have all the map packs. If you want to know more, just add me. ANYWAY thanks for the tips Zawad Iftikhar. It’s good info.

  62. fukinknifed says:

Seriously? I use the shittest strategy(both on PS3 and iPod touch):
1-knife ALL zombies until round 4
2-I let my partner(ps3) or some random guy (iPod touch-btw I have to force him by standing at the doors) to open all the doors that lead to tele porters and the mystery box then I camp at spawn area, waiting for my partner/random guy to activate the teleporters to link (we link the teleporters 2 seconds each and before round 5)
3-at round 7 I do my own thing
4-I let my partner die and wouldn’t revive him
5-I can last until round 17 before my partner realizes I’m playing by myself by then

  64. xP2DxPREDATORx says:

My tactic is to link up mainframes as soon as possble then start saving up ….
Juggernog is a must have it will save your ass countless times
Double tap Depends on your weapon somin like a mg 42 then No it will waste your ammo But on a mp40 , B.A.R then its a good idea
Speed revive is the key to surviving Get it early to ensure your teamates of surving Also dont rely on the mystery box too many times just get a decent weapon .. Thompson .. Off the wall then rely on the box
My Gamertag Is xP2DxPREDATORx And i play any time you want
Got all map packs aswell :) Thanks for listening

  65. Wraith300 says:

Heres my strategy even though it may be close to your strategies:

1-5,6,7(depending if dog round shows up) use your knife and occasionally the pistol if needed and the occasional nade. Try not to be tempted to get the Gewer its just a waist for future possibilities in the later rounds. Okay continue doing this until a dog round stars, open both thompson doors grab a thompson and run to the staircase nearby. When dog round is over after this grab the ammo when everyone is reloaded.

After dog round: Clear the debris and go to the mystery box and turn the power on.

5,6,7-10: Fend off zombies in the room with the mystery box til round 10 (even if box moves dont camp where it moves to) at round 10 make a few crawlers at the end and start to link teleporters (and yes, all three of them) after that if your not already saved up save up for a weapon upgrade.

11-15: Have one or two people in the same room as before and the other two (depending on how many players there are) should be on the catwalk fending of stragglers ( by now at level 15 u should have a good or semi-good weapon upgraded.

16+: From here on everyone should be on the catwalk fending off the hoards of zombies and continue to make crawlers at the end of each round to get ammo and weapons etc.

    Good luck

    O well.

  68. [...] You need to kill zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie Mode to earn points, which enable you to buy weapons, open doors and blockades, and use Mystery Box. You probably would want to be wise if you are to survive long, wasting money in the early rounds is not a good idea. Save some cash for the later stages 1-10 are relatively easy. So plan for the long run from the start. Save some cash, only one or two person buy a good gun, and that’s enough. Though, try mystery weapon box to get your hand on lazer may be. You can get weapons, and repair broken barricades at the end of the round by leaving one zombie alive. Old strategy we also discussed in Shi No Numa, Verrukt, and Der Riese. [...]

What’s up people! My PSN ID is R-E-T95(PS3). If you want to add me you can. I have all 3 map packs and I was looking for someone who is skilled at Nazi Zombies in CoD: WaW. Also if you like playing multiplayer online. Also if you have CoD: BO. Those are pretty good strategies. The one that is kind of stupid to me is the one running around with a Thompson, FG42, and Juggernog. I don’t really use a stragtegy, but I need someone to help me get the trophies from map pack 2 & 3. I don’t have CoD: BO or a mic yet, but I’m hoping I get both for Chrismas. Be ready for zombie pwnage!

my solo strategy is for the first 3 rounds knife and ocasionly use bullets then open doors to thompson room and buy it then go and turn the power try for a good weapon(mg42 ppsh monkey bombs ray gun and wunderwaffe)Then make a crawler at round 10 and link teleporters and buy perks and if you have enough upgrade your mg42 or ray gun or wunderwaffe depends if you know weapon glitch and then just run around the map and throwing monkey bombs and zapping with wunderwafee also lokking for expierienced players on xbox my name is darkkni9ht08 peace out

  75. Some Ranom Dude says:

I have dont the strategy where you camp up on the “cat walk” and you buy the tompson and mp-40 (i think thats what it is called…) and camp there until you have enough money to open the doors to the teleporters. Then you can upgrade them and go rambo. You could also buy claymores.. but that is optional.

  76. Epczombiepwn says:

I got to round 214 on iPod touch der rise legit with no cheats just with the wunderwaffle and traps. Took ages so in the end I got bored and blew myself up with a monkeybomb ;) I’m on the leaderboards – epczombiepwn

  77. steve01357 says:

i have a good strategy for the first maybe 15-20 rounds of der reise. from round 1-3 you just shoot each zombie twice (not in the head) and then knife. you will get way more points than just knifing them once or shooting them. at lvl 4 you should have over 3000 points so unlock the 2 doors to the trench gun room and then buy the trench gun now go back to the main room and camp in the corner of that little slant that is straight from the mainframe. so lvl 4-5 is usually dogs so being in a corner is smart. at 5 if it isnt dogs make a crawler and link up all the teleporters. go to teleporter c and camp on the stairs with the trench gun. since it will only be lvl 6-7 it will be pretty easy still. so make sure u have a weapon u want to upgrade and make sure u have 6500 points. now teleport and packapunch ur gun. after this u can do whatever u want but i usually get all the perks and just run around the map like in kindertoten (on x-box)

  78. mitch says:

on four player me and my freinds got to round 29 without using any pack a pnch or any perks by hiding in the warehouse near telepoter c and half way through each round we activated the electric barrier which would give us time o kil all the one past it easily but when u dont use the pack a punch it takes alot of shots to kill them so my best startergy was to shot their head off when their far away then when they get closer my freinds finished them off when they got closer so one person shots them on top and the rest pin them on the ground

  79. Cbcatcher33 says:

Anyone have any good solo strategies?my best solo is round 15. So I’m not nearly as good as all you “pros” out there lol. And how are you guys doing split screen on an iPod?
