There are lot of happening during a week, lot of good news, lot of crap, lot of shyt that we simply can’t cover because we are busy kind of. I mean we are students guys so I thought it would be nice and easy way to just summarize all the news,views, confused statements once a week covering every trash statement and every great news in a single article so here it is.

1. PEGI has revealed a new rating system consisting of five age rating symbols 3+.7+,12+,16+, and 18+ shaded with green,yellow and red colors.
A PEGI Ok label will also be used for small online casual games stating the game in question is suitable for gamers of all ages. SO what ESRB has been doing ? why PEGI ? well PEGI rating system applies to Europian Games.
2. The New zombie map Shi No Numa was downloaded 1 million times during the time period of just 3 days Activision reports not that we don’t believe but ffs 1 million in 3 days seems more like everyone has gone zombie crazy.
3. The developers behind America’s Army has been closed down by America’s army I mean US army and that’s official but I didn’t anything like the game development will stop they have just shifted it to some other place called Redstone Arsenal in Alabama.
4. Activision issued a resounding warning to Sony that if they don’t cut down the prices of their Video Games they might stop supporting Sony’s
5. Playstation console based games Why ? simply because it’s too expensive to make video game on it and above all very less sales due to price hikes.
6. Prototype is this weeks no-1 game replacing the legendary The Sims sequel The Sims 3.
7. Consumer retailer Best Buy has now joined the list of retailers selling used video games. What does that suppose to mean ? you can buy used video games from Best Buy as well.
8. Final Fantasy VII has been downloaded 100,000 after just been launched on Playstation network two weeks ago Hey! that’s a big deal Right ? we know shi no numa story.
9. Rockstar new England has been busy cutting jobs lately to the point that they have already cut 10% of their workforce.
10. Microsoft has acquired motion sensing camera technology holder 3DV systems and here you were thinking they weren’t serious about Natal well believe it or not they are.
11. Bathesda parent company ZeniMax Media has acquired Id Software, bringing two giant game developers under single umbrella but what next ? We don’t know.
12. Inspired from ZeniMax EA has also joined two of its developers Bioware and Mythic to form a new RPG/MMO studio group seems more convenient isn’t it ?.
13. Square Enix is being sued :O that’s a news but why ? Well they say it has been concealing fees, penalties and alegedly deceiving its 100,000 customers.
14. Sony says PSP-GO will have Non-Gaming applications as well nothing we didn’t expect from it but what’s the point ? Another reason to buy it or what ? Are you happy reading this ?
15. Dr pepper consumers will have excess to exclusive premium content of EA titles by EA. How come ? well the two companies signed a multi million dollar deal that resulted into that.
16. The Austrailian govt. intends to hault the access to sites hosting and selling adult games, Nice Move.
17. Internet advertising bureau has established internet advertising council that will promote game advertising hmmm I wonder If I will care about a Best Buy add while driving a Ferrari in GTA IV. What do u say ?
