Drawbacks
Well this is an amazing list of features this machine has got but the problem is that it draws a vast amount of power as compared to normal laptop harvesting full hardware performance and the annoying fact that it needs full power to give full performance is just too vague whats the point in having a laptop when you have to keep it plugged in to enjoy all of its benefits.
I agree with the fact that performance of any notebook PC decreases while on backup but in case of Qosimo the difference is unacceptable in my case really. Some may say that there are ways to overcome this problem e.g.by switching to the power saving mode by employing the integrated graphics chipset first, before calling upon superior graphical firepower of an SLI setup but I don’t think that one should compromise when you are paying such high a price.
The second feature we don’t like is the size and color theme used that really doesn’t fit with mobile gaming PC tag that’s all. Now to the brighter side.
Plus Points
Among all the interesting features of this gaming Laptop, the graphic system powered by Nvidia with SLi technology is the highlight as expected from a gaming PC. Qosmio X305-Q706 is running 3 NVIDIA GPUs.
It has a new highly integrated GeForce 9400M graphics processing unit along with a pair of NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS power Graphic Processing Units. Now this strong graphic engine lets gamers enjoy unforgettable gaming experience from a laptop.
The current price of the machine is $1,999.99 which is of course higher regarding it’s features.Overall Qosmio X305-Q706 is worthy of being bought if you are satisfied with its power issues.
