We are familiar with most of these like Capture the flag, Free for All and Team Death Match, the remaining two seem new but frankly they aren’t. In Clan Arena two teams Simply compete against each other and team with the last man standing wins and Duel is just  1 on 1 competition beat your opponent by scoring more frags and you win.

Each of these modes can be played by setting different time durations game allows it, 10 minutes was the default timing for FFA when I played it and there is option in the menu that allows you to set the time for the match so you are all good in that way too.

Quake live has a simple gameplay in any game mode you pick the weapon from the floor of the arena at the start of the match, and pick other Upgrade bundles like Health packs and Armour etc and use them to dominate your opponent.

I have also enjoyed playing Quake Live – it doesn’t even feel like a browser based game, but a regular title. Recommended by me, too, to all fans of multiplayer first person shooters!
