EA Confirms Sims 3 Coming this June

EA has given the official release date of Sims 3 as june 2, originally the game was expected to be released in February ( this month) but now the game will not be hitting shelves until June.

According to EA’s  Russell Arons:”The Sims 3 will be the original IP summer blockbuster of 2009 as we build off the success of the best-selling PC franchise of all time to create awareness with both loyal Sims fans and new players.”

The game will be released  simultaneously on PC , Mac , iPhone , iPod touch , and mobile phone. Their is not much detail available on portable versions of the game at this point of time but most probably they will be more of a casual versions of the game.
